My doctor has left the practice and now I am on the hunt for a new doctor for myself as well as my three daughters. They would prefer a female and I was wondering if someone could give me some recommendations and advice. Thanks.

I live in Morristown and my daughter and I go to Dr. Karen Harsh. Her office is on Economy right next to TCBY. She also has a female nurse practitioner. They are both really good.

Yes Karen Harsh and her nurse practitioner, Lisa Kirk are wonderful. My daughter is 12.

I also know of Dr. Vick. I have never been to her, but a friend of mine is one of her nurses and she has always said wonderful things about her. My friends name is Deana.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND KIM SETSER NP FOR ADULTS SHE IS WONDERFUL WITH ALOT OF EXPERIENCE. SHE ACTUALLY HAS A HEART AND WILL CARE FOR YOU AS A PERSON NOT JUST AS A PATIENT. THE OFFICE IS ACROSS FROM MHHS. She is in with Dr. Hasemeier

Does anyone here know anything about Dr. Eric Delay?
He is in with Healthstar. I am new to the area and my son has an appointment with him next week. We started out at Hamblen Peds and that lasted all of about 4 months when I chose to switch him. Won't air my reasons here but I have them.

Dr. Delay is fairly new in town, haven't heard anything good or bad. Most people have good things to say about the Phillip's group.

I went to Debra Lane MD recently. She was great, caring and took her time to answer all my questions. I have only had the one visit with her, but it was positive. She is in the old Medical Arts bldg. on the corner of W. Third North.

I know the feeling well Paula of not having a family physician. I have a Liver Spealist that I thought had a nurse that would give me a flu shot last October. When I went into the office and ask if I could get a flu shot, I was informed they did not give flu or any other shots in their office and for me to go to my family physican which I did not have. She pointed me into the direction of Dr. Hasemeier's office who was taking new patients. While there, I talked with both Dr. H. and his very impressive Nurse P. Kim Setser. As it turned out she had worked with a Liver doctor several years before she came to Dr. H. My own liver specialist is "tops" so I was really impressed when I told Nurse P., Setser, that I had a liver disease and was expected to live about two years without a liver transplant and the things she informed me about concerning my liver. Some things that had not been mentioned before such as my MELD score. This stands for Model for End-stage Liver Disease. Needless to say, I was impressed with Dr. Hasemeier's Nurse P., Kim Setser.
I have been back several other times to her about other medical problems and she always makes me feel that she sincerely cares about my health and well being. If she were unsure about something,I know she would quickly confer with Dr. H. I would recommend her highly if you prefer a female to give you excellent care and to deal with.

I go to the Phillips Group and they are a great bunch. They take their time with you. They have a clinic two times a day where you can walk in and be treated with out an appointment as long as you are established with them first. Only negative thing is while they can do blood draws for test, any xrays have to be done elsewhere.
