Man Charged With Drowning Wife Despite Child's Intervention

A Morris County man who allegedly tried to drown his wife in a bathtub last week is charged with murder after she was declared dead Thursday.

I don't know what to say. An eight year old to witness one parent murdering the other parent, how horrifying.

That's a shame that she had to witness that, but who knows what would have come of it if she had not. I hope she is doing ok.

What a horrible thing for a child to have to live without her monther. I hope this scumbag rots in jail and then in hell. Why not just leave her if you're not happy? Divorce, disappear, do anything, but kill her? Why? So selfish and sad. I really feel horrible for this little girl who now has no parents and some pretty horrifying memories to deal with.

How do you live with yourself knowing that your the reason that your child has no mother now? I do a child live with knowing that her father killed her mother. So sad. This is something this child will have to cope with for the rest of her life. Hopefully, he won't fight for visitation. Why should she ever have to visit him and prison, and look in the face of the person that took her mother form her. I wish this child much love.
