I can only say that he admitted to touching a 14 year old and he gets 3 to 5 years. Not enough time for this crime.

What a mis-carriage of justice. A man who already is on the Megan's law list repeats his crime, and is given a slap on the wrist. Must be nice to be the Mayors kid.

Why have Megan's Law??

How can someone who ADMITS TO TOUCHING A CHILD only get 3-5 years. I am so upset that an admitted pedophile gets such little time. WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING.. This is unjust and unfair to the CHILD and the CHILD'S family. What happens when he strikes again, then and only then, will people realize that he is sick?

This is such an injustice. I can understand the family not wanting to put their child on the stand, but to let him plea to "child endangerment" & let the other 10 charges, which included "sexual assault" be dismissed is a disgrace to our criminal justice system & a slap in the face to all of his victims. Do we even know how many other children he molested between the time he was first convicted till now that hav'nt come forward!

My question is if he was already a Megans Law offender from the incident of a few years ago, how come his name does not appear on Megans Law list? Did he not register as he was supposed to? If he didn't register, why wasn't he arrested by the police.

I am so angry with this situation and parts of me are angry with the parents for the reason that if they did not have the financial backing then maybe he would be paying more for his crime. But I can not say I would not do the same for my children if placed in that position. Next I am angry with the justices system but we have to remember that if it went to trial a young lady would have to be on the stand and inform the public on what happen. As a parent of the victim I don't believe I could ever let one of my daughters go through that. So it comes down to its not fair, I think about it and I am discussed with the situation, it makes me realize that as much as we can try and protect our children there are people out there that do not think before they take action. Which we all do but when it comes to children think twice on how you are emotionally damaging them. Damaging this girl is probably what I am the most upset by.

I would be AMAZED if anyone on this forum had the yams to publicly speak their opinion on this issue or any other for that matter.
