An estimated 2.5 million young adults have gained health insurance coverage since the 2010 health care law took effect, according to a new government survey - a finding the Obama administration is embracing as it continues efforts to communicate the health's law's benefits, even as public opinion about the law remains mixed.

Tired of the Morris newspaper reprinting this left wing propaganda, recently on a regular basis. Glad I didn't renew subscription; others should vote with their pocketbook also. Give me facts, not propaganda.

While it is good news more people have access to health care because of this, the flip side is ignored. It shows that the job market is stalled. I blogged about this here: http://thehealthlawjunkie.blogspot.com/2011/1...

OBAMA 2012!!

He's moved mountains, even as the GOP/Teahadist, white man has kept us all oppressed, just to make him look like a failure! The G.O.Tea has ruined our economy to try to make it look like Obama is to blame. I can't wait to vote OUT every single RePUKE!

Oh, and congratulations on the millions who are now covered with health insurance and the ones who can't be dropped or denied coverage due to an illness! That's really awesome!:)

Compare Health Insurance is on a mission to help all San Diego residents find affordable San Diego health insurance. The local company announced this month that it has established direct links with major San Diego health insurance carriers, including Aetina, Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield, Health Net and Kaiser Permanente, among others.

These connections will allow Compare Health Insurance to provide individuals and small groups with easy access to a wide variety of San Diego health insurance quotes based on their coverage needs and budgets. Affordable health insurance is more essential more than ever. This lack of medical coverage presents a profound risk. If an uninsured individual were to suffer a serious injury or illness, they could face financial catastrophe. Medical bills continue to be the number one stated cause for personal bankruptcy in the United States.

“There are millions of people in California alone who do no have health insurance,” said John Weiss, owner of Compare Health Insurance.“These individuals are one accident away from drowning in medical bills. That’s why we’re here. At Compare Health Insurance, we don’t want any San Diegans to live their life worried about catching a cold or staying out of the emergency room when they need to go because they don’t have insurance.”

The Compare Health Insurance website allows visitors to request a San Diego health insurance quote directly through the site of a carrier or through the Compare Health Insurance rating service. Visitors can also contact a company representative for advice, information and direct assistance. The company offers individual, small group and large group health insurance coverage along with short term coverage, senior coverage and dental plans.
