Morris Water - molds in toilet bowl

Never have I experienced water that made a black ring around the bowl. Is Morris water always this bad? Sometimes, usually around certain agricultural events, the bowl gets a slimey coating, and right now the black ring is the problem.

Mind you, I clean our toilets on a weekly basis, but this goop builds up every 2 - 3 days. Anyone else have this issue?

The water that fills the "place you crap" is the exact same water that fills your glass to drink.

So, yeah... I find it a valid concern.

I just came across your post, I get the same thing at my house. The water here has been nasty as long as I have been here (4 years). I have had to start adding baking soda to wash dishes in the dishwasher to get the white filmy stuff off my dishes, in the shower it feels like you can't rinse off soap. Toilet bowl thing seems to be happening more this summer. Please post if you get any answers.

Glad I'm not alone, agreed1. I'm sorry you're experiencing it, too!

@KP - it may be common around here, but it isn't in Indianapolis or in the surrounding Indy suburbs.
