I am aware that when people enter the country, they may have their vehicle searched. That is nothing new. I used to go to Canada all the time- back when we were free to come and go without a passport or enhanced license. They have the means to check out any traveler who comes through the airport. Dogs can sniff out bombs and other things. There is NO NEED to do what they do and you know it. It is NOT about security. It's about control.

When I used to fly, all we did was walk through a metal detector. Americans are NOT the problem and should not be subjected to the BS they are subjected to.

There is no such thing as perfectly safe. That's why we have a right to bear arms. That right should apply to everyone, everywhere, yes even on a plane. Nothing would make us safer than each of us being responsible for our own safety.

You might be right. I think that only about 20% of Amreicans relate with Obama's message of socialism. The problem is that Obama is able to convince many of the 80% that he is on their side. We have plenty of uninformed people in this country and, their ignorance, may end up being to our peril if Obama wins in November. Obama is going right down Saul Alinsky's playbook. If people would just look at the other industrialized countries and see just how poor the average citizen is in those countries and ask themselves, is this something I really want for my country?
