I think sewer should be for the business distict only. It is very expensive to hook up and most homeowners will not be able to afford it plus you then have to pay a sewer tax also.

I agree we need sewers. I agree that we should use the grant money that is available. What I don't agree with is the fact that they want to build over the BALLFIELD where KIDS PLAY. That is not acceptable. Build it in front of the Mayor's house; not where Kids Play Ball.

But how much will it cost the home owner to connect to it and how much will it cost to run.
The grants are just to install them.
When the did the South West Sewage plant years ago the taxes in my house in Seaford went up about three thousand dollars in four years,I can not afford that now

We will build the new sewer system because we need it.
Yes taxes will go up. But it will be money well spent. More business, house values will go up.
Less pollution. Better quality of life.
Natural gas pipeline too. All good. No more oil to spill.
Yaaaayyyy

People who live near the Forge River and other tributaries need to reduce their nitrogen emissions. Back yard cesspools are a large source of pollution. Sewers are an interesting idea and I want to hear more.

This from the brains whos only claim to fame is knocking down a few houses and plowing one storm. How about this, start small, build an Information Booth first and lets all see if this village can do that under budget and in time before we give them free range to build a MAJOR building of this size. 11 million? when the village gets done with it it will be 22 million and 12 years late. Prove that YOU can actually build a shed first. I know a civic group that can build a shed for little cost, lets see if the village can before we give them this amount of money and power.
You guys cant fake or BS your way around this one. You will actually have to show a BUDGET and a PLAN!

Lawn fertilizers are the major source of nitrogen runoff. Need that perfect looking lawn, keeping up with the Jones'? You're killing more living things than you realize. Thank you.

Bad for "business" to ban products of Big Ag. Golf courses, extreme sources of pollution, overly treated greens, etc. Bayview Park was partially funded by Scott Lawn Products. That'll bode well for Pattersquash Creek. Not! Hope they don't use those kinds of products there.
