Thrift store, not a dollar store. You have to get buzzed in, not be too buzzed to get in.

Sadly, I've just read that $500,000.00 has been delegated to the MBV for the purpose of installing a sewer treatment facility. This is being done supposedly to enhance the probability of enticing more lucrative businesses to the area. This will be a moot point, as businesses need to thrive on accessibility to the area - being so far down Wm. Floyd Parkway will in no way attract the types of restaurants and other businesses that currently exist on Montauk Highway - those that are there stand a chance at survival because they are located close to Sunrise, relatively in the middle of the Tri - Hamlet community. To think any substantial business has a chance of survival based solely on the residents in the surrounding area will be money wasted. And no realistic business person would bother investing their money which has little chance of seeing any return. Now, in the SSP, Bill Biondi stated he ad the trustees would FINALLY be receiving a salary - I was at the meetings prior to incorporation - what happened to the "Poor Village" concept - they emphatically stated all positions, from mayor to trustee, would not be paid positions. Sorry to see how all these people ended up lying to you in MBV.

The salary they gave themselves will have to be retracted as there was no posting of a public meeting regarding the infraction of illegally giving themselves salaries without going through the proper channels. At this point the salaries should be the least of there problems.

they are allowed to give themselves salaries. they had a public meeting about the budget. nobody asked any questions about a salary. they slipped that through without many people even realizing it. this is the type of dirty tricks and back door deals that have become the norm in mvb.

you guys can just put a camper on the back of a pickup and use that as our guard shack. But, please remove the illegal structure from our marina, thanks.

Whos marinas? Yeah, thats who I thought. When I have to hand over money to the village to belong to the "marina club" and pay 30 dollars a foot to keep my boat there, you may call it your marina, until then.... Its the MBPOA marinas and always will be. Now go tell Gary to clean his sh!t up, his marina looks like hell.

Still on the fence about the village, but you guys are idiots. Don't care who controls the marina. All I know is that in a few weeks my boat and many others will be in it. It's my understanding that the two stories was to give more visibility to the guards. I want all the protection I can get for my boat. Your only hurting the boat owners by not allowing it to be used. Besides it dosn't look bad and is built well. I say leave it alone. You have bigger problems in the area than a shed, which will actually benifit the boat owners

EXACTLY! THATS why this is a big issue. Its all about the village, mainly Gary S throwing his weight around trying to prove he rules everything. The guy works FOR US, not his friends and family. You are the ones suffering because of the village. Go tell it to Gary if you dont like it. We have and have been ignored.

We all have things if looked into enough will cause problems.(I keep my grass over the legal limit). I, like many of my friends know if we say something we become targets. We've created another crookhaven. The only way to fix it is to vote them out, one at a time.

actually as of today they belong to the mbpoa. and if the village gets them, they still won't be yours. if you read the village code, there is already a code in place to only be able to use beaches and waterfront/marinas with a "proper permit issued by the village" i bet it will be more than $30.00 and I bet the slips will be significantly more than they are now. all this garbage over a shed is just ignoring the real problem. the shed is for guards to watch over the marinas. the village is an oligarchy created by idiots who don't know anything about government.

Again, I don't care who owns them, but you're probably correct that the price will go up and you will pay for the use of the water front, if the village takes it over, one way or the other. When the village was formed they said they would be more people friendly and make it easier for people to get thing done. I have not seen that. Like brookhaven, another hand in our pockets

well, the village IS another layer of government, so I don't understand why people thought it would be different then the Town, State, or Federal government. And because they 'said they wouldn't' isn't a very good reason.
