She only thinks about the village Cultural Arts.
Remember she is up for reelection in March. She has not done anything that she said she would do when she was running.
And why is the village pushing the Cultural Arts on the Village website and e-mails and not anything from the MBPOA?
How many Trustee spots are open this coming March?

guess what? on August 25th, the day of the crabfest, the village is encouraging people to go to Lake Grove for a Sandy Fundraiser. The Village was instrumental in picking the date for the fundraiser. They worked closely with Lake Grove Cultural Arts to make this fundraiser happen. I called the Lake Grove Cultural Arts, and they told me how helpful Trustee Capiello was. They said she was the one who suggested the August 25th date.
Another blatant attempt to screw with the MBPOA. I am glad someone wants to help the people of Mastic Beach, but it should have been planned on a different day. Does anyone see a pattern here. On the day of the MBPOA Halloween Party, the Village planned Frightfest. On the day of Music by the Bay, they had a Nautical Seafest. On the day of the Crab Festival, they are heavily involved in and encouraging residents to attend an Event in Lake Grove. Co-incidence; I think not. I can't figure out if they are jealous, or just plain stupid.
just a guess, but they probably needed a tax shelter. charitable causes. our own local groups have 'em, too, without naming names. i'll bet it has nothing at all to do with the mbpoa. you guys are too paranoid.

The EVENT, no. The DATE of the event, YES! Gail insisted that it needed to be on that date. Why? Because of the Crab Festival. Personally, I'm glade she did this.
A) None of the village people will be at the crab festival. YIPPIE!!!
B) It shows how Gail has turned he back on the very people that elected her.
The event isnt the issue, its about once again having an event, any event, on the same days that the MBPOA holds one. The MBPOA holds 3 events a summer and the village after receiving the dates to those events, planned theirs on the same dates. It just shows how petty they are and how they dont want to work with this civic. Oh well.

no. no tax shelter needed because villages don't pay tax. also, all of their events except for the one on aug 25th are done in the name of the cultural arts guild.(aka the village) the dates are not co-incidences, they are planned. the village's ultimate goal is to destroy the mbpoa. that is why it was formed. that is it's main purpose. if they were interested in resident's concerns, they would not have missed the deadline for application for sewers. they are so busy with their harassment, that they have overlooked many problems. stop making excuses for the village

I have to agree. When their first act as a village was to sue to get the Marinas, that showed their true intent.(check meeting minutes, THOSE are up)
Instead of taking the time to seek a new Judge,(who they hired to STRICTLY work on MBPOA cases) because B OMally cant preside over anything involving the MBPOA because she is connected to a lawsuit against them; they should have taken the time to read the paperwork more closely. Maybe next year. I bet the lawsuit with the MBPOA will still be going as well. Isnt it great how we have to pay for TWO judges now? 25 grand each to work a 50 hour YEAR!

Wow, it took you 9 minutes to pile on your previous post. You are right there is a second judge, but he is only per diem. And I think he is going to make a good decision.

The other one wasnt me. More than two people are pissed with this village.
Its the fact that we needed to hire a second Judge to only handle MBPOA case that is the problem. If a new judge is needed, it shows that the Village is only concerned with suing the MBPOA, not working with them like you keep asking everyone too do.
Maybe they should take more care and time to run the GOVERNMENT, not harassing a civic.

Yeah. The village hired a second judge who gets more money than whats budgeted into the yearly budget because first judge cant rule over the MBPOA cases. So because the village sues the MBPOA so much and constantly gives them tickets, YOU as a tax payer gets to pay for a separate judge. On top of the one currently making 25 thousand dollars. Neat huh? People really need to read the meeting minutes.

If the village judge did handle your case, you would bitch about that too. I hope the next court date FINALly settles it.

And a "Village" judge IS handling the case. Or is this one of those "I dont work for the village" situations?

The Lake Grove event is being put on by their Cultural Arts group, not their village. Tax shelter needed.

If hes a village judge?
Well, he works for the village so he is a "village judge".
Or is that too far above your grasp of understanding?(it just seems like village supporters aren't all that smart or informed)
