I was told certain things by Kevin about the docks and marinas and associate members that he claimed were in the by-Laws. after a brief review I see he was mistaken or lying. I will read through them again and double check. They are not as extensive as I thought they would be.

Bylaws are different than rules and regulations. The only thing I could see that you are looking for or have issue with, is the assigning of boat slips. Available boat slips are issued in this order. Members-residents of 11951 then associate members. Priority is always given to the current renter, as long as they pay by what Jan 31? Or something like that.. I suggested that they move it later so we an use our tax checks..

Bylaws usually only concern the operational and organizational make up of an org. The regular rules and regs, voted on by the governing body, are probably what you have issue with

They are not a basic format. They are the Laws of the orginazation. Problem is they do not follow them. Anyone that challenges that fact is harrassed and bullied. On another note Kevin Collins is one of the POS's. Loser carries a pistol and makes idle threats with it. Everything he touches turns to Sh*t..Like Barbaras Kitchen.........

Obviously, he is looking up the rules for upcoming elections. I heard there is going to be a hotly contested election. Hope it doesn't get nasty.

code enforcers also carry guns. Or did you forget that Gary gave them that pleasure during Hurricane Irean?
Sorry frank, you lost your dock because you refused to fix it and then sued after you didn't follow the by laws trying to change the rules.

Ad stay off our docks.

uhhh, you may want to look into that because you're wrong. No elections are coming up and they are far from "hotly contested".
More likely the person wants to make new laws concerning the board and is going about it an improper manner Like when Frank F tried to stop the POA from spending their own money. Remember that? He didn't follow the rules and looked like an idiot in the process. S he sued them, got kicked out, then had his lawsuit tossed out.

I'm guessing its more of the same. But think what you want. You guys always do.

While we're at it, where can I find the by laws for the PCCA? Do they even have any or is it like the village where they make it up as they go along? Can't wait until the IRS audits them and their records! THAT should be funny!

it is time to act like a government, instead of a bunch of goons. the village spends so much time monitoring the mbpoa, that they fail to property research anything they do. (ex: carnival, street signs, not needing a highway department, not being in charge of garbage) that's just a few of the things that have gone wrong while all of the village's energy has been put into an old grudge,

The village and the mbpoa are not at war. they are involved in a civil matter before the Supreme Court which hopefully will be decided soon. You are likely an mbpoa officer who has a grudge.

By the way, are you enjoying the $300 per year garbage fee, it was one of the first things the village accomplished.

no you are wrong. i have no grudge with anyone. i would have liked this village to work; but it has become increasingly clear that the village has an agenda that is not for the people. they constantly lie. when asked at the meeting, they said that the carnival was canceled. they did not disclose who was running it; their own cultural arts guild is running it. there is a big sign out front.

they lie all the time. we are not tax neutral. trustees and mayor are getting salaries. gary's family does own cleanup company. gary's family does own sign company. code violations are only handed out to people who did not support the village. village supporters can do construction without permits, have cars on their lawns, or any other thing they want. they can get permits to build houses on inferior lots too.

Cultural Arts is NOT THE VILLAGE it is and association like the MBPOA - in fact I think it is a 501c3 something the MBPOA is not, but you know that you simply get on this site spread your venom and sit back while the sheep repeat it you are a sad sad person. I guess we just need to wait until your hatred, lies and self serving agenda totally kills the MBPOA ...it is a shame.

i have no hatred. mbpoa is a 501c4. cultural arts is funded by the village. the deputy mayor's wife and other village supporters run it. at their last open mike event, they were severely overcrowded. people from the bar next door came in with drinks. when the mayor was made aware of it, nothing was done. nobody else could get away with this crap.

cultural arts guild was funded by a GRANT from the village. nepotism again. what good works has the guild been involved with? since they are not for profit, what are they doing for their neighborhood?

Yet in year one and year two they charged me $330 for Waste Management which is exactly what the TOB charged me for Waste Management. The difference is that the TOB would actually send out workers to pick up trash along the side of the road and in empty lots as well as actually broom sweep along roads. They would pick up garbage dumped in the wetlands as well. They would also send an inspector to make sure that the trashmen would not dump the cans and let garbage litter the roads. TOB contractors would pick up styrofoam and other crap that the new guys leave it behind to fly in the wind all over the place. Also please explain what happened to the extra $ 165,000.00 that the Village saved by using the cheaper contractor? That money should have gone back to the taxpayers. So where is it? I believe this is a clear misappropriation of funds. Where did the extra money go?

So the Cultural Arts is a 501 C3? Really and they held a political fundraiser at their office for the "Forward Focus" team. HHmmm that seems like a clear violation of the rules.

Do they rent the storefront to outside groups? Or did they let them use the storefront for free?

How about the open mic nite? Allowed to go over capacity in front of a Fire Commissioner? Allowed to bring alcohol from the bar next door?

Oh right if you are a Friend of The Village laws are not made for you. The only people who have to obey laws are people or organizations the village powers that be have a grudge against.

Yes and I love the Beautiful Historical Signs that were supposed to go up last year on Neighborhood Road but have somehow disappeared into Gary's home. I heard that Gary thought it would be a good money saver to have the artist paint them on Masonite so as not to pay the expense for the exterior plywood. Unfortunately MAsonite does not hold up so well in the rain.

When will we see these signs? Before the tourist season heats up? Before Tri-Hamlet Day?

The AG and DA could not do a Forensic Audit fast enough as far as I am concerned.
