Thank you guys so much for all your comments. I can tell they're really heartfelt and that you all meant every word you wrote. I'll tell you-you've sure got me on the ropes!!

27yr Medic
Your post was fantastic. I loved the part where you said that I was "delusional" and that it explained "all the completely insane pulled" from my "rear posts." ("Insane" what? Who cares, right? You bested me and that's what matters.) Then when you said "Unbelievable," I thought to myself, "well, that was a devastating counterattack from which I'll never recover!" I mean, after all, I've just posted FACTS about your union-who can argue with those, right? Facts, shmacts: facts are for people who win LOGICAL arguments!! You'd rather spend your time googling "Signers of the Constitution" and "100 great arguments FOR a union," rather than engage in a debate with facts! How silly of ME to assume that FACTS were a concern!!

Not a company man
Where should I begin, right?! How can I possibly argue with such an overwhelming statement as, "He don't know what he is writing" ??!! And then your follow up: "He is a true Jancarian office poke.To hold such a position,All you haft to do is agree with every thing they feed ya." Brilliant! Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I sure feel defeated!! And then the coup de grace: "And the worst part of it all,Is he is now proud of himself. And really don't know any better.Because they haven't tough him that on purpose." At this point, your words don't even have to be put together to form meaningful statements!! The twenty or so .gov website sources I've referred to on here surely can't withstand such a carefully-crafted, brilliantly-executed retort!! I, sir, commend you!!

redbone
I hope this doesn't make the others jealous but... you're my favorite! And this latest attack: my goodness! How do you come up with these things?! I mean, I'm not here to debate any facts?? I'm a dog who won't bite on the bone of merit you've thrown me, but still you can get me to do tricks?? I'm a "Blocker"?? What blistering rebuttals, what insightful and logical analysis!! Yeah, I really shouldn't have trusted those "union-bashing" NLRB and DOL websites! If only I planned for such demoralizing and shattering refutations, if only I had gone with my gut instinct to cut and run and "not get involved," if only I had realized the true intellectual power my opponent held, I would not be here suffering these terrible indignities!!

However, I can't go down without one last, final salvo! I urge the people reading this to return to my "rear posts" as 27yr Medic called them and find the websites I've posted. Read them. Find out for yourself about NEMSA's corruption and greed. But, I warn you! DO NOT post ANYTHING against redbone, Medick 7, 27yr Medic, or Not a company man-you'll only unleash upon yourself a terrifying campaign of name-calling and words that are unencumbered by the weight of authority and fact! Ye be warned!

The Constitution was "Authored" and "Ratified," NOT SIGNED! The Declaration of Independence was signed. Read Gordon Wood's "Empire of Liberty," or better yet, get a copy of the Constitution and read it; not the whole thing, because it would just confuse you, but the end, where your alleged signers would've written their names.
And I don't know how many times I have to tell you-I do NOT "run" the company. Please find a different attack.
Seriously? A much simpler way would be to Just look at the Constitution and wow look at the 39 signatures.

No matter how much you think or say the sun revolves around the earth or the world is flat, doesn't make it so.

Ok this is the last time I will write about this-
Those signatures were from delegates who "ratified" the document. They didn't "sign" it in the sense that they agreed with or authored it, like John Hancock "signed" the Declaration of Independence-they were agents of their respective states acknowledging that those states accepted the Constitution as law.

That's it! I'm done!

Oh and just so you know I didn't forget your original concern about the money. None or NEMSA's contract have the workers taking any kind of loss in pay what soever in fact EVERY contract has people pay both hourly AND ANNUALLY increasing every year. And remember that we vote on the contract so we are not going to vote ourselves a loss in pay. You can put your mind at ease on that one.
Where are you getting this from? Can you post a link to this information? Not that I don't trust you... but I'd like to see for myself. Anytime someone poses a valid question, you just say "Oh well, NEMSA has done this before and it has always worked out..." I'd like to see the source of your info.

Redbone, Not A Company Man and Medick 7, you have presented no arguments that have convinced me that Jan-Care needs a union. Insider not only gives us facts, he backs them up with sources. He gives us links so we can see for ourselves. You aren't presenting your side properly. The best you can come up with is name calling "Jancarian office poke??" As an employee of Jancare I am offended that you think anyone who isn't pro-union is some sort of slave to management. We are regular people just trying to earn a living, much like yourselves. Only we don't have to resort to a third party to get a raise. You see, if you are a decent employee at Jan-Care, you'll be recognized and appreciated by your supervisors and rewarded. It has been my experience that most of them will bend over backwards to help you. Maybe the reason you haven't seen this side of Jancare is because you are a crappy employee. Calling in at the last minute, complaining about every partner you get, saying that you are "too tired" to take this call even though you've been on station for 8 hrs. Yeah, I know your type; you are a minority at Jancare. Just like the people who want a union at Jancare are a minority. Just incase you were wondering, 30% of one county is not a victory. One good thing has come out of all this: Jancare employees are finally united! United against unionizing!

Nothing will convince you because your management/owner/family. We know this already and we are NOT trying to change your biased mind.
And another thing, you might want to check on that 30% again, your WAY off, but good try though!

John Hancock was the "president" of Congress ...president... he signed approving the Declaration of Independence as LAW.

Your only argument against the union is a cell phone and the fact that they are liberals? I'm a registered republican and even I see the petty grasp that is. In the link, I noticed you favor the photo of a black woman in the picture too. Hmmm? I'm getting a vibe here and it involves a white hood. This is 2013 you know, racism is really getting old. When you use racial propaganda to steady your platform, it tells quite a bit about your intentions.

So now if you're against the union you're a racist? Wow, I didn't know that about myself! Ridiculous argument!

Obama, SEIU. So what? If you think every corporation does not have their money flowing to each party you need to go back to school. And if you think labor unions are not heavily invested in the stock market and capitalism you need to go back to school.

THESE ARE ALL DISTRACTIONS that are simply intended to shift the focus off what Jan Care is doing to us and shows that they truly believe we are stupid and will just follow the shinny thing JC management puts infront of us so we don't pay any attention to the almost criminal way they treat us.

I am an NRA card carrying, Tea Party, red blooded Army veteran who donated more than $5,000 to Romney, but I'm supporting NEMSA because I want a contract and fair treatment and a REAL say that has THE FORCE OF LAW behind it and not simply the force of the "Cornetts promises". Like I said in my first post on this site, if we want to have a seat at the table and the ability to have REAL input and a contract that has legal backing we MUST join a UNION that is the law in the United States, there is no other way to have those rights. So we come full circle. If we no longer want to be at-will employees who are blown around by the Cornett's "wind" then we have two choices; quit or Join NEMSA.

Wow! You have $5000 laying around to contribute to a presidential campaign? You must be doing pretty well at jancare. Too bad all that money will go to a union that will use it to elect democrats if nemsa gets in.

If your so unhappy with your job here a Jan Care let me make a suggestion. Take the first choice and let the people that are happy to be here continue without all the BS you bring. But then can you really work someplace else without having the same complaints you have here. Maybe you should ask yourself if maybe you are the real problem.

It's real easy, if the majority wants the union, they will vote it in! If they don't, they wont vote it in! It is kind of funny to hear people around the main talking shit about the union and then bragging on it in the field ; ) That tells me the union is on its way!

Interesting how it was so easy to find. Makes it pretty clear that those demanding to see these contracts never wanted to see them in the first place, they just wanted to say they weren't there and the union boogie men were lying to them. The more the discussion continues the more revealing certain people's motivations become.
