BTW, it looks like the truth is beginning to get out into the public about the anti business and anti WVU sentiment of the members of the Morgantown Together group.
They even have their own "thugs" out intimidating folks that have put competing candidates signs in their yards!
As you would expect, Don Spencer is thug number one. What a sad individual. Rumor has it he's the way he is because of an inability to deal with his disdain of a family member. Who's to say?
I'm hearing that thug number 2 is the owner of COBBLERS BENCH in Suncrest. Another pitiful woman. Not terribly smart, but tries to hide it behind an over-inflated sense of self worth. Well, the only person she really needs to convince is herself. Everyone I know that has dealt with her, already knows what she is about.
Scuttlebutt has it that thug number 3 is Nancy Ganz herself. Most of he folks here in Suncrest just pity her behind her back. Can you imaging how it must feel NOT to know what "friends" say about you behind your back, all the while thinking that they respect you?
There are some of the ones preaching diversity and inclusiveness?

It's pretty much the talk of the town. No secret that they haven't been too well received either. I've also heard that council candidates are talking about it too. I know some city employees and they seem to think that something "is in the wind" too. Time will tell.
Yes, several of the candidates have talked about evaluating the leadership positions. One thing you have to remember is Moore turned some of these departments upside down, and gave several department heads significant raises. If anything happens, it probably won't be until after the election.

These hacks are out in full force with their signs. A good friend of mine that lives on Mulberry street was harassed by a group wanting to place several signs in his yard. I've got a feeling this is going to be an ugly election.

I won't support anyone who can't run on their own merits. If you see one sign you see five together. A pack of wolves?

Well, we have Manilla, Bane, Nugent and Herbst to thank for restoring our right to a secret ballot at a legal polling place.
I think we can now see why Byrne, Selin and Shamberger lobbied so hard to keep vote by mail. With their intimidation tactics, they would try to talk the feeble minded into voting in front of them, or, worse, do it for them.
That's what happens when voting becomes all about convenience instead of integrity.
We need to run Selin Shamberger Ganz kawecki and Fike out of town...or at least to California with the rest of the constitution haters.

Does anyone remember that drug or alcohol induced rant that Byrne posted on Facebook last election? He was so scared of being beaten by the letter carrier that ran against him that he actually files a fraudulent suit with the state to silence him. He damn near got beat anyway!
I guess that's how they do it in the communist bloc!? ;-)))

They came in mass to my house on Park Street on Wednesday. Agree with the other person who said, if you can't run on your own merits don't run. I actually like one of the candidates but won't vote for him since they are running as a group.

They appear in a pack so that you can't question them on their imaginary and fabricated platform...and, because the only way they have a double-digit IQ is to add all of theirs together.

A little off subject but I have a question.
Does anyone know why all the pine trees were cut down around the City of Morgantown garage off of Greenbag Road. They were not all dead. Some still appeared to be very healthy.

I noticed it too while driving on Greenbag Rd yesterday. I assume they were just cleaning up and I have to admit it looks much better. Those evergreens were all overgrown and in some places pushing the fence over.

One of the worst things about them is that their entire platform is based on UN-truths. They need to create a false narrative just to be able to address it. You really have to pity the people that actually believe them and their stories. When you take the time to know the facts, the Morgantown Together hacks just appear what they are...liars.

Yea, it does look nice. Just hated to see them all be removed. I asked them through the website why they were taken down. They said some were dead, some were laced with poison ivy and the others were removed for security reasons.

We are hearing that city council is going to be asking the interim city manager to evaluate the performance of those department heads who were brought in by the former city manager. It shouldn't take him long to figure out additional changes need to be made if the city is to get back on track.

You must have leaders that "buy into" the future goals and economic growth of the city. I think the downtown area is extremely important to the future economy. As a community, we must continue to focus on improving the infrastructure to welcome small business. Our city leaders can't forget about the downtown economy. Has anyone noticed how the major routes into the downtown have become dilapidated? I think this is one of the major reasons WVU is buying up large tracts of older housing. Some of the houses and vacant buildings along Brockway avenue look atrocious. The same goes for Willey street. Some of these buildings have to be a fire hazard. The answer is responsible redevelopment from the private sector.

City leaders must find creative ways to encourage redevelopment of the major arteries into our city. That means listening more to the business community than some of the special interest groups. I'm afraid that some running for city council are more worried about the year of the tree than the rundown buildings and crumbling streets.

Great first step. Now we need to keep Manilla and Herbst, and elect Redmond, Furfari and Graham!
Selin a n Shamberger have to go, and we can't elect Fike, Kawecki or Ganz!

It appears the "Together" group is gaining some strength. Seems they are getting quite a bit of support judging by the signs and letters in the paper.

George Carlin said it best: "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups."

The group is going grassroots by asking some of Morgantown's best known leftists to flood the papers with substanceless fluff letters going for building name reputation. At least one letter this week was from someone who doesn't live in the city.

Time will tell whether the strategy is effective, but hopefully informed citizens read those letters in the paper, drive by homes with all their signs, and wake up to realize what's at stake if they don't get out and vote.

Has anyone actually heard a plan from any of the Morgantown Together group? All I've heard are opinions and what they are for, but not what they will do!
