There is no rebuttal for your insane ramblings. You want Obama impeached for giving aid to Egypt. Fine, start the proceedings.

Or do you have to be older than 12 to do that.

;)

<quoted text>Excellent rebuttal. And you ask if I am a child? LOL Because you dont want to respond to what I have said you have basically put your fingers in your ears and started humming nah nah nah nah. I suspect that is because your know I am right but like most everyone else, just dont care if the government breaks the law when it is something you agree with. We will see if you still feel the same when it is something you dont.

Besides the oil, we have coal and natural gas. And if we repeal Free trade Agreement and tax and tariff the hell out of American business' so they bring the manufacturing jobs back. Then tarrif the other countries as they do to us. Cut this forigen aid and make government smaller. We would have jobs and a tax base so maybe Obama care would work. For if people are working, then they will have their own insurance and less people to cover with his program. Instead we have a communist country in China that we will mortgage our future too while we give them jobs and they do not like us anyways and want to conquer us.

<quoted text>Yes the thought of Biden as president is rather scary, but we cant allow the president to ignore the law and do as he pleases. I agree about cutting aid to Pakistan, but at least that aid isnt against the law.
There is an entire laundry list of the US giving aid to "rogue states." Back in 2005-2006, we gave millions to Palestine while they were raining rockets down on Israel. We gave millions of dollars worth of rice to Korea during the same time period. Cutting off aid is the last resort. Iran is a good example of that.

If the Sinai straights fall into the wrong hands, all hell is going to break loose in that region.

How long did it take you to come up with that one?

Or did you overhear it while you were stalking the school-yard?

I said we could use both as far as oil. From our natural resources and if need be Canadian oil.
Still not enough to fulfill our needs It's not just about cutting our dependence on foreign oil. It's about cutting our dependence on oil period. Stricter mileage standards, higher gas prices--all of those things that Americans generally dislike. If the solution was as simple as you imply, it would have happened a long time ago.
Well Duh wrote:
Let the islamic muslims fight it out as they have for centuries. Then we will see how they fair and myabe they will be a bit more respectful.
Step out and let Russia and China have control of those regions? Is that what you are saying?
Well Duh wrote:
Like I said, what do they have besides oil and war? Nothing but ugly women and sand. Oil refineries in the midwest can work on our own oil. Plus if President butt plug allows more drilling, we would be the oil whores of the world and have cheap gas for ourselves.
Jesus, you people are amazing. You hear a lie on Fox and you just keep repeating it.

Please check out the graph in this link from Baker Hughes--one of the countries largest drilling companies.

Well Duh wrote:
And think of the jobs, not only for drilling but parts too and transportation. Plus other business come around the plants. OMG....we can not have a outbreak of jobs or the socialist liberals might have to work and show some pride and backbone.
Now that's interesting. You support the Keystone Pipeline, which by all accounts will decrease the number of American jobs in drilling and developing our own supply, but you claim you want to see more jobs in drilling.

You can't have it both ways.

I want Obama impeached for knowingly breaking the law, not giving aid to Egypt. We both know without aid Egypt will erupt into civil was and God knows what, but I expect my president to follow the law. I guess you have to be over 12 to understand the ramifications of the president ignoring the law when he pleases.

Hey Artie--The situation in Egypt? It's not nearly as simplistic as you think:

Try to put your emotions in check long enough to read the entire article.

I guess you have to be over 12 to understand the president could follow the law and still aid Egypt. But no worries, just ignore it like the rest of the mindless apathetic zombies. I will stop about Egypt since no one but me seems to care. I consider it one of the most serious violations and the future will show the precedent it helps set, that the president can ignore the law when he pleases with no consequences. I dont know why I waste my time, this country is doomed. The freedom loving country the our forefather founded is history. Most of the population is uninformed, apathetic idiots who are too stupid to understand the ramifications of what they ignore. Go ahead and make some more childish insults and continue to ignore it like the rest of the zombies.

Isn’t the United States supposed to cut off all military aid after a coup? In theory, yes. The Foreign Assistance Act, first passed back in 1961, says so quite clearly:“None of the funds appropriated or otherwise made available pursuant to this Act shall be obligated or expended to finance directly any assistance to the government of any country whose duly elected head of government is deposed by military coup or decree.”

But the U.S. government has long been flexible on this provision. As my colleague Max Fisher detailed at length,“while the U.S. often does follow this law, it tends to ignore or bypass it when it sees key national security interests at stake – which may well apply in Egypt.”

For instance, the Obama administration was slow in cutting aid to Honduras in 2009 after a coup there. And George W. Bush got a waiver to reinstate aid to Pakistan in 2001, even though then-leader Pervez Musharraf had pretty clearly come to power in a military coup.

I will ignore all the reasons the article mentions because as I said before, those are totally irrelevant to following the LAW.
I will say that just because, as the article states, "they tend to ignore or bypass it", doesnt make it right or legal. Bypassing is one thing. That is legal. And ohhh looky, your arch enemy GWB actually followed the law and got a waiver. That is all I am saying Obama should do. FOLLOW THE DAMN LAW! But who cares, dictator Obama can do as he pleases.

Yeah, I could just imagine the pissing and moaning you would be doing if he cut them off and they shut the Sianai Canal and your mom couldn't take you to soccer practice.

No they aren't, Artie. If you understood the consequences of abandoning Egypt--with their large army and control of the route that oil is shipped through, you might be reluctant to make this rash, emotional decision you are clinging to.

Ohhh Lawzee, Artie, you got your panties plumb in a twist here, don't you? I am sure if your fellow republicans thought they could use this law to impeach that mean old black man in office, they would. In the meantime, take a pill or something.

You still dont get it. Obama can follow the law and not "abandon" Egypt. Its called a waiver, you know, like the one George Bush actually got. But ignore the truth and continue to defend the president breaking the law because it is inconvenient to follow it.

Anyone who is not like you is a "real man" Cowardly. Apparently everyone but you knows that.

How do you know he is not getting a waiver in place? These things don't magically appear on his desk. They have to go through a process and because the situation is an on-going one in Egypt, we can't just turn our backs on them.

You don't. You just want to get all dramatic on us.

;)

How do we give that money to Egypt? Is it paid daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly? Have we given them money since the coup?

Looks at all these childish insults, something a 12 year old would say. That is the best you can do? Maybe when you grow up you can have adult discussions without being rude and immature.
