That's a very generous thing to do, but my question is - why isn't he giving out wheelchairs to the handicapped people in his own country. There are plenty of veterans in this country who need wheelchairs. We need to support our OWN country!!

the VA gives out wheelchairs to any vet that requires one. even power wheelchairs and scooters at no charge plus, ramps, power lifts ect. we take care of our own

Maybe that's how they do it in Alabama, but that's not how it works in PA. I have very close friends who work in VA hospitals and they're frustrated with the way things work around here. My husband is a Veteran and the VA has done nothing for him.
