I have only dealt with them when I purchased some repair parts for my mower. I have know Ryan and his family all my life an he is a stand up guy so I was surprised to see this thread.
Could you share what happened? I know that labor rates and parts are outrageous for any repair these days but overhead contributes to this fact.

I've got one. A couple of years ago, I took a weedeater in to be repaired. It was in the late winter. I called several times and it wasn't ready to be picked up. Spring was closing fast, about a month or so. I call around 3 weeks later to find out my name wasn't in the system. Turns out the dickwad sold it to cover the $25 or so in parts. This was a 3 year old Stihl trimmer that was about $300 brand new. The lady on the phone told my at least 3 different times that I would get a call back. I never got one. I went there from Hickory on the recommendation of a coworker. My work and family situation didn't allow me to go down there for a couple of months after that happened, and so I had forgotten about it. So if I were to give a review it would be this: I wouldn't piss on the place if it was on fire.

Juan, You weren't using a cheap track phone were you? They don't work well in South America.

I've been going to Burke Outdoor for several years. Purchased a zero turn there several years ago. Was always treated well and felt the prices were reasonable...until recently. Last time I had my mower serviced, I felt overcharged and actually they weren't even friendly. A part was actually left unhooked on the mower and I had no idea why it was mowing uneven. A neighbor had to come and rehook the part that wasn't.

The older gentleman that used to be there, I did not see. I was under the impression that maybe younger members of the family had taken over the business. Not sure, just know that I was not as pleased as I had been in many previous repair and service visits.

I would not do business with Burke outdoors customer service is very poor.
