What is with this anti government movement? I have seen a lot of stuff on the Internet and Facebook about over throwing our government, that America is a police state, people recording encounters with the police to try to get on the news.
Now I don't like or agree with the president but I like the idea of a president. I don't like how the government works but trying to over throw the government will not work. LIFE IS NOT A MOVIE. If you don't like how it is in this country find another one to live in. Nobody is forcing people to stay here.

America has already been overthrown.The Tyrant issues his own rules to circumvent Congress and the Supreme Court.Obama said he has his"pen"ready.Presid ential edicts....never meant to happen.Congress was supposed to rein in the power of the president.Obama knows this.

The anti-government people fail to realize even though our system has issues and problems, it's still the best option available. In half of the worlds governments we could not even have this conversation without risk of punishment. A week of living in the Middle East under Sharia law or a week living under a African or N Korean dictator, I promise you they would never question our form of government. Yes, our system is broken and corrupt but we keep electing them back in office because so many people are hung up on voting party lines. We do need changes and in the perfect world we could hold politicians responsible thru voting yet hardly half the people vote. I personally think every sitting senator and congressman should be voted out this time but surprisingly so many Americans are totally uninformed voters or vote straight tickets.

The Tea party is not about over throwing the government. That is a democrat talking point they use to make the Tea Party look bad. They also use words like Racisist and Bigots.

The Tea Party wants to restore our government back to what it should be, when you could pursue life, liberty and happiness without an overbearing government trying to micromanage every facet of our lives.
When government didn’t take your money and give it to someone else or some business it deems too big to fail. When being on welfare was not a badge of honor but something to avoid.

I agree and good job quoting the constitution, I don't think many people even know what it says. But it says "alter or abolish it" with the first step being to alter it. Americans have the tendency to jump straight to wanting to start a civil war or try to get their state to secseed from the union.

We need to do something about it instead of fighting amongst ourselves. If it takes calling the people we elected every day until something gets changed. If we have to march on Washington and call for Obama's impeachment. But you have to ask will the next one be any different?

And why do so many right wing extremeist want to kill police officers? I guess it is because they are the first line of government they see. I guess they think that will help them prove their completely crazy thought process to the world but instead it hurts a family first then the community and makes the killer look like a complete nutjob.

Was there not runaway spending when Bush was President, yet the Tea Party waits until Obama is inaugurated to begin their movement against excessive government spending? How did this timing happen?

That quote is from The Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution, but many people make this mistake. I agree with most of what you have written.

Yes! Bush did a lot of spending. He paid for wars with borrowed money and he cut taxes and increased entitlement spending. When Bush left office he left with a deficit increase of 6 trillion (Wikipedia) Obama in his first 4 years has increased the deficit by 6 trillion and by the end of his second term his 8 year total will be over 14 trillion. An increase greater than all the former presidents combined.
And Yes I complained about Bush spending too much money too.

The very institution of Government is based on violence.

All government is is the ability to abitrarly create rules, steak our property and to threat us if we don't pay up.

Maybe you need to educate you on the fact that at least 300 mio people haev been killed last century by teir own Governments and at least same amount as the result of enemy states at war!!!

Who do you support for government is a really shallow question.
You get people to think more if you ask WHY do you support the government?

Why do you vote? Why do you pay tribute to the gang that steals more than half of our income?

Why do we respect the biggest enemies of freedome - namely the government going around randomly searching people and getting away with it.

Why do we repect the mass murderes that go to other continients and do mass murder on innocent people?

Why do we respect the government when they want to take our guns - same time as they do mass murder the other side of the world??

Ecconomic trouble and the government bails out the big banks, makes the people pay up and is forcing public debt on us all and our children.

AND GOVERNMENT IS ALWAYS BACKED UP WITH VIOLENCE, COURT, TREATS, PRISON etc.

I advice you people who love freedom both left and right to embrace REAL FREEDOM.

Politics is not the sollution, politics has never been the sollution.

Democracy and all sorts of political setups/governments, are in facts ENEMY of freedom!

Freedom is always illigal according to the government. The government is your rulers, your masters who force you to pay taxes - This is a reality of life.

The real tea party, by that i don't mean sarah palin or glen beck, they are both idiots, they have hijacked the tea party.

The real tea party father is Ron Paul, he is NOT racist. Ron Paul advocates voluntarism.
Giving your vote to Ron or Rand Paul is thow a waste, political action is always a waste, patriotic, republic, democrate or any other form is waste of time.

The only thing that is unhijackable is self ownership, real voluntarism or anarchism.
