What they should do is a "one cigarette dosage" vapor cartridge, in other words one cartridge lasts about as long as a single cigarette. The problem is that you don't get the full habit satisfied, and often you don't stop craving a cigarette until you discard the butt because of that. These cartridges contain a lot of cigarettes worth of vapor, and thus you don't even know when you've had "enough," so to speak. But at least these products are becoming very common and exceedingly popular, they are a better alternative if you must smoke, not that they're much safer, but a little safety can go a long way.

Working on trying to make the switch, yes. I want to stop smoking, but as I stated above, I need to fulfill the habit a bit better with the vapor smokes.

I overlapped for a week or two then decided not to buy another pack of analogs. Which ecigs are you using?

Metro, they taste like the tobacco I smoke. As I said, it's the duration thing that's the problem, it doesn't "feel" like smoking a single cigarette because of the capacity of the cartridges. If I could put one cartridge in, smoke it until it's gone, then I would have that "clock" to cause the craving to abate.

A two edged sword. When you set a cigarette on fire you feel obligated to finish it. If you are used to regulars and switch to lights, you will alter your style of smoking to satisfy the nicotine level.

Those don't directly apply with vaping. You can take a "puff" and stick it back into your pocket. The nicotine level is chosen by the liquid.

Once you get past the conditioning that vaping is smoking, you no longer need to adhere to a flavor that mimics tobacco, a vaporizer that mimics a cigarette or a mannerism that mimics smoking.

Yes, but to me it's more the habit, not the addiction, that binds me to smoking. I have gone weeks, even months, without a cigarette only to start again when I was able to smoke. I often delay buying the next batch of cigs, just to push the envelope. When I am not able to smoke, I do not, I don't even really crave it. Sadly the building I live in does not ban it.

"A single e-cigarette and cartridge lasting about as long as one pack of traditional cigarettes is expected to cost about $10 and will include a USB charger. Reynolds also will sell a set for about $30 that will include one electronic cigarette, three cartridges and a USB charger. Additional cartridges in both original and menthol flavors also will be sold as a two-pack for about $6."

This pricing scheme should tell you how much respect RJR has for the intelligence of their customers.
One e-cigarette, one cartridge, and one USB charger:$10
Two extra cartridges:$12
Combined cost:$22

BUT WAIT!!!
BUY IT ALL AS ONE PURCHASE TODAY AND PAY ONLY ...$30!!

Never said I was a "special case," lots of people are habitual smokers who are not addicted to it in the same manner that others think addiction is. There are many different forms of addiction, not all are the same, none are a disease either, they are just different forms of it.

Now, how would I not take offense at you reading more into what I posted?

That's not far off the going rate for name brand kits. There are better options for both the hardware and for reducing the long term costs.
