Why pave I-40 shoulders?

Isn't it nice that we are getting smooth, newly paved breakdown ramps on our interstate courtesy of our all-knowing federal government. Never mind that the main driving lanes will shake your fillings loose, the breakdown lane is smooth as silk. That's where I'm driving from now on.

In order to get Obammys stimulus checks,they have to be spent on projects that are ready to start on now.It does not matter if it is a waste of money or not.This is a good way to tie up traffic for hours and make it look like the state is doing something for our tax dollar.They are supposed to start paving the complete entrance and exit ramps come spring time but they could not wait until then because they would not get Bammys money.We get to go through traffic jams again in the spring for something that could have been done all at one time.I guess that the Tennessee contractor and his employees needed work now.Glad I didnt vote for Bev and Obammy.

I thought that the stimulus money was supposed to be used for the local economy and workforce.
