Are we talking about black Doug or White Doug. When Mr. Chow jumped out of the trunk and was naked I had no idea he would get the Drug Dealer Doug and not our best friend Doug. Why does Allen have to wear a Jock strap and no pants. Allen is smart he won 80 grand so we could pay Mr. Chow.

omg..fact is the mans a user, not a dealer. cops came up to him siting at a red light, cause he fell asleep at the wheel there, and when officers where questioning him, the saw cocaine on his shirt, and then searched him. bottom line, he got busted, and the cop actually played for him a while back. is sad, but he made the choice....he is a good coach though, no matter what anyone says..cant take that from him cause the man know how to teach the game!!!!
Yes that's what they said in their report they sent to the school....but they charged him with felony poss. Meaning he was carrying so which one is it did he have residue on his shirt or was he carrying it? If it was just residue on his shirt how can they charge him for poss.? They can't! & they also can't say it was residue without testing it....so y'all sound ignorant & the police is ignorant too! Like i said before they fucked up! I'm done with this mess i can't wait til this is over so we can laugh at ya ignorant ass people!

It's odd that the only ones defending him are relatives. Where are all the parent's of the kids he helped?? He got caught cheating last year with an illegal player that he drove to practice to himself, yet said lied & said he didn't know he was out of district. He is a convicted felon, liar, cheater, & has been arrested. He is NOT a role model & should not be allowed to coach. By the way he may have helped with practices but he WAS NOT allowed on the field during the games this year!!!!
. AMEN tell it like it REALLY IS, all anybody has to do is do a public prison record search, he is right there. He should be banned from the schools for LIFE.

I have continuously been keeping up and reading this forum mainly to see how ridiculously individuals came be and it's sad to say its right here in my home town of Lenoir that people are still criticizing and passing judgement due to the lack of knowledge or should we say common sense. This man has taken kids and giving them discipline and gudience regardless of his past or his flaws. These kids look up too and respect Dougie for the man he is and as a male role model that some of these kids don't have in life. He take them under his wing. So instead of putting this man business out or talking pure shit about him, respect him for the good he does do. If it wasn't for him to have taken a group of kids and turning them into young men and one hell of a football team y'all wouldn't be having this convo or forum today. So it seems to be more form a jealous stand point or just pure hating. I'm not saying lets condon what's in front of our faces in references to this man charges or convictions. But simply get off this mans nuts and let him coach these kids, cause obliviously the ones talking spit have no life and putting all their energy is bring others down. Regardless of whatever skeletons this man has in his closet it's his business to deal with. Not for y'all to be broadcasting. Cause regardless at the end of the day he still has the respect of the community and kids that he is a part of. The rest of y'all are nobodys..

I agree with your statement about this issue being his personal business however, when you work with kids, you absolutely cannot, in any manner, be involved with drugs. And in his case, drugs are part of his past and present. As for your role model statement, I would hope that the community would never condone a person such as Dougie being a role model. Let's see, convicted felon, out of shape, no job, collecting disability, and still involved with drugs. Sorry, but that is not a role model. And if you really knew the kids he coached, most of them did not really like him. Sure he gave some of them rides, probably bought them some food or helped with shoes, etc., but to your point, for some of these young men he was the only male in their life. He did offer them something that nobody eles could, or would. But his method of fear and intimidation to gain their respect only resulted in resentment. And his coaching success on the field was not from his insight or strategy, it was from the talent that he was able to pull together.
Personally I hate that Dougie is having to face this issue, again. But he did this, nobody else did this to him. And to see a post such as yours showing support for him, and calling him a role model, is simply ludicrous. I too want the young people in our community to succeed in life - but growing up to be like Dougie is not a successful life.

We'll said. I agree that a role model is more than a car ride. He was given a second chance and he messed up. Ban him from all schools, ban him from all coaching duties and then back to prison, you felon.

Ten days till Dougie faces the judge. Was it powdered doughnuts or cocaine? I think the LPD knows the difference. As for the police not spotting the open container or testing him for DWI, they had bigger fish to fry, FELONY COCAINE. He only wished that he just got a DWI. Dougie's relatives say that he transported kids to play sports. Now, Druggie will get to be ride in the back seat. Have a nice long ride......about 8 to 10 years. Role model, I think not.

Yes. Dougie has been selling coke for years. I should know. Ive bought it from him quite a few times. I used to pull down behind his house, he would act like he was estimating detailing my car. He used to detail cars on the side. Then we would go in his basement where he kept the goods. Ususally couple ounces at least. So if your his family how do i know how u drive down the side of his house and the layout of his house. Mainly his basement. hmmmm

hell with dougie! they had it where he couldnt coach due to his record, then him and a lot of others whinned and cried, so they gave him a chance and the man blew it. now all those who stuck up for him should feel like fools. I personally think the background checking isn't enough. All coaches IMO should be drug tested before the season starts, and then again with a random 1 during the season. he mite have been a good teacher of the game, but also a very bad 1 on life.

He does not need to be around these children that used to look up to him. Feel sorry for his parents also that believed he was going to be a good person in society. Grow up and be a man and work for a living instead of trying to be some sort of dope slinging creepy old man.
