CONGRESS had raised the US debt to $10.7 trillion dollars by January 2009 at the end of the Bush tenure. CONGRESS raised the debt ceiling back in February 2014 to $17.2 trillion dollars. 17.2 trillion minus 10.7trillion is 6.5 trillion . 6.5 trillion is 60% of 10.7 trillion.
So--- you have made some inaccurate statements:
1. the debt since Obama has been president HAS NOT doubled as you claim
2. Only CONGRESS has the power to approve spending or debt, not presidents.
Why do you think Obama is constantly begging CONGRESS to fund the government and pay the bills which CONGRESS has made?
3. There has been ;little or no change in my political position in many years. I have always opposed abortion, I have always opposed more gun control. I have never supported gay marriage. I have never been an infidel,. I believe in Jesus Christ. I support real free enterprise I oppose more tax breaks for the rich.

My criticism of republikans is not an endorsement of democrats.

The fact that Obama has not folded under he extreme obstructionism presented by republicans is within itself testament to his strength as an individual. Even being able to make a country run and slowly improve from the republican depression with the resistance he has faced is testament to his overall job performance. That doesn't mean I think him perfect.
I am aggravated with Obama's recent performance with regards to his meddling in the affairs of Russia which are none of our business . The rollout of Obamacare was pitiful because too much time was used selling it instead of designing and implementing it, even though it is now kind of working for some people..
I respect and support the office of president, which Obama holds, because the success of our nation depends to a large extent on him. My loyalty is to the USA, not to a republican or a democrats party..

You'd be better served preparing for the upcoming elections, then renewing your brushfire with TSF. As of now, we have a President who can't even get nominees confirmed with a simple majority. We live in a country where the PC police monitor every word, and although the"war on women"is nothing more than a cheap campaign slogan, the war on Christianity is real, although unreported in mainstream media. Finally, the Democrats are prolific baby-killers, calling murder"pro-choice", and after discovering that"global warming"didn't work with temperatures plummeting, rebranded it as"climate change". The democrats have become masters at propaganda, most mainstream media doesn't make a peep, as Lerner takes the fifth again and again, pointing directly at a scandal of epic proportions, while reporting daily on a couple of lane closures in NJ.

TSF Obama is the product of a socialistic upbringing that is incompatible with American ideals. As for pressure, what pressure is he under, that a few trips to the old golf course won't cure? He is surround by sychophants and fawned over by most media outlets. Most criticism of Obama is fluffed off with taunts of"racism". What PRESSURE??

Democrat controlled unions in Illinois have raised six million dollars, in an effort to encourage democrats to vote in the Republican gubernatorial primary, in an attempt to skew the election process in favor of a more liberal Republican.

Congress has the power to end Obamacare just as suddenly as it was passed.. The house of representatives has voted almost 50 times to do exactly that. In fact, that is the only thing they have worked on for the last two years. The reason that it has not happened is because it cannot pass the senate.
You should read the constitution. The president is required to present a budget PROPOSAL to CONGRESS . Only CONGRESS has the power and duty to pass a budget. It can be the presidents proposal, a modification of the proposal, or congress can make their own budget.
Yes, the president can veto bills. Then bills go back to congress where congress can override the veto.
Our democratic system is a painful and tedious system of government, but it is the best system of government yet devised . The most frightful and harmful thing that could happen is for either republicans to gain complete control or for democrats to gain complete control.

Good advice. Obama can not run for president again. Most citizens already know that things are not perfect. I cannot envision US voters lining up behind a whiner, crier, complainer, doomsayer twit. What we need is a leader who has explainable detailed plans for solutions and the leadership to effect those solutions. When that person emerges, I will vote for him or her regardless of race, religion or political affiliation . That is who both parties should be finding and cultivating. We need solutions, not more complaints.

cities and towns across America are being targeted one by one. the minority of non believers are on a mission. they feel they are being threatened by a God they claim does not exist. these arrogant anti-God Caped Crusaders are sweeping across the country bent on destroying the symbols of Christianity wherever they find it.First the symbols, then the institutions.

You made the statement that Democrats are against Christianity, and I just wanted to know how and where this was occuring, of if you statement was just a broad stroke with no substance behind it. If it is the prayer in school issue, we have covered this subject many times. Personally, I don't see Christianity discriminated against, but maybe you can clue me in with real incidents where it is.
