I do not need a freeloading Communist minded ant-American screwing it up.
If you and your family are already covered and you are satisfied with the premium you are paying, then what is the problem? Just what could the ACA screw up for you? Okay so I get it, if the POTUS were a white republican you'd be all for it, right? Maybe if it were called "Cruz Control" or how about "Farent Hold"? Control your urgency to see a doctor or Hold your horses you can't afford it. Yea, sounds about right to me.

Shut it down! Plain and simple shut it down. It is not the damn government that makes this country tick...it is not government over paid workers that it make it tick...it is the average man and woman busting their ass in the private sector. At this point shut it down and tell the idiots and criminals in DC to pack up and get the hell out. They have been pretty useless for the past 40 years or so anyway.

I think it is time to shut down congress as well. Obama could, by executive action stop their pay and lock them out . Since Obama is commander of the US military, who could stop him? I think it is more important to pay military on time than to pay congress at all. Keep the military , keep the IRS collecting taxes and just run the government from the administrative branch.
That would be the ideal republican government except run by democrats.

I heard that!!!!

I got up this morning, the sky didn't fall and the government is "shut down". Works for me. I agree with you, run everyone in DC out including the POTUS and leave getting things done to the average man and woman.

It's only "non-essentials" that are going to stay home a couple days and they're probably glad for the break.

Everybody sign up for your Obamacare today, if not, the IRS is coming after you. I hear they'll beat you within an inch of your life with unnecessary paperwork they're famous for if you don't.

Exactly. Right now I get a fairly nice retirement check from the government. Something to show for my enduring for 30 years. Right now that is protected, but if were not then so be it. I also work a private sector job now and can get another one if need be. People have fallen for the line of bull shit that we need government to take care of us. All you really need is a job, a little sense and the desire to get off of your ass and do something called work. I had a conversation not a long with a relative that is an attorney. This crap bag actually had the gall to say that he felt the government is obligated to take of our healthcare and to provide life's essentials even to him. Now this is what the socialists have been teaching for years. This jerk is a practicing lawyer and yet wants the government to take care of him.

Look we all know that crap rolls down hill, just because you are self-employed does not mean that it will miss you. You are just as much a target as the rest of us. Hey what happened to your disability check? According to you, you went from being disabled in Texas to owning a gun shop in North Carolina. Bipolar disability and guns are big issues. They just don't mix!

As far as the shut down...why are some so damn stupid? Last I night I had dinner with some friends and we were discussing the shut down. One of them was appalled by what she called my poor attitude toward the government. She said that she thought that with my 30 years military service that I would be supportive of the government. What an idiot. I served the country. I served the people. I served the rights of the people. Not one day in 30 damn years did I serve the government. Anyone ever heard of a guy named Thomas Jefferson?

Allen old girl, bipolar disability doesn't have to last forever,do some reading on"bipolar", sometimes it simply goes away. Yeah, old Waco is self-employed now! You should be happy for me, and the taxpayers! Remember Allen, political adversaries don't HAVE to be mortal enemies.

That's because the idiots are partially out of the way. Now business can run. It is a fact that if you want the economy to grow. If you want jobs then you have to get the bumbling idiots and thugs in Washington out of the picture.
