You might want to visit your bank in the next few days and withdraw some cash to carry you over the next few months. Ideological crazies of the republican right ,party of stupid, plan to shut down the government in just 11 days. Social security checks and deposits as well as pay to military and their families will most likely NOT be made. Just in case the economy spins totally out of control, you might want some food and barter items. Better stock up on beans, bullets and bibles.

The RODS malady (republican Obama derangement syndrome) has spread from NC into Virginia. Republikans in Va want to pass a law to require any woman who has a miscarriage to report that to the police within 24 hours so that the police can investigate her miscarriage. Also be warned that Va republikans think that yoga leads to Satanism. Strange place, Virginia. almost as strange as NC

"Specifically, the bill required that within 24 hours of “a fetal death” that occurs without “medical attendance,” the mother or someone acting on her behalf must report that death, the location of the fetal remains and the name of the mother to local police. Furthermore, the “remains” could not be disposed of without police authorization." "Obenshain’s office issued a statement Tuesday which said that the senator never intended to target every woman who miscarries, but only women like the 20-year-old Virginia college student who in 2008 delivered a stillborn baby in her dormitory’s bathroom and then placed the body in a dumpster. She received, under current Virginia law, a 30-day suspended jail sentence and a year of probation. Press reports say she also underwent considerable counseling." That was pathetic even for you TSF.

This is just outrageous, 74,6 billion dollars per year. Does that include the 30 billion per year in cash payouts to farmers or is that just another drop in the bucket? Then there is the 195 billion dollars in crop insurance and commodities supports. Maybe we should just totally end the farm bill and stop ALL welfare the the rich mega corporate farmers as well as to the poor children. Darn, Dang, what do you think?

Then apparently, Obenshain's INTENTIONS were considerably different from the actual text of the law. The actual text is what becomes law. But who would expect a republican to understand that, even if he has a law degree?

Well that clears everything up and removes all anxiety. With workers not being paid and some required to work without pay, I am sure everything will work just fine. Sounds like time to start taking those sick days.

I don't know much about Obamacare/Romneycare. Will it be cheaper than paying for emergency room visits or will it be more expensive?

California will likely soon be getting some relief from the financial burden of illegals as they move into NC as a result of the recent republican illegal alien jobs bill. 650 million in just one state for medical care for illegals and Obamacare hasn't started yet. Could Obamacare be more expensive than that?

Suppose you skip paying the minimum monthly payment on your credit card debt. What happens? Answer: They downgrade your credit rating, charge you late fees and increase your interest rate. You outstanding balance grows exponentially, and if this continues, you payment of the balance becomes impossible.
So lets close down the government, skip payments on the national debt, skip payments to government workers and the military, stop payments on T bill interest and government bonds. What will happen? Answer: Our credit rating will be downgraded, late charges will be added and the interest rate will increase. Our balance will grow exponentially, and if it continues, our payment of the balance (or even interest only) becomes impossible.
So who thinks shutting down the government is a good idea? Answer-- The party of stupid. Who else?

I'm tired of doing your work, post the link with the language or shut up. BTW, "legal jargon" always sucks, as if you didn't know. You didn't express an opinion on the tossing a baby's corpse in a dumpster. I'm assuming you're OK with that.

I think that food stamp fraud should be stopped, I think drug testing should be done and I think whether farms are large or small they should get help, because they FEED us, as in the FOOD STAMP recipients. BTW, wasn't your guy John Kerry in the tomato business. Oh yeah, he sold out for 23 BILLION.

I think the costly perks to Congress & Senate should be stopped. Retool their big pensions. Cut the foreign aid in half. Whenever our economy takes a turn for the worst we seem to blame the poor. Why is that? They have absolutely nothing to do with it. We need to start focusing on the clowns we elect to office. They start to work on their reelection the minute they get sworn in & they will do & say anything for that vote. They don't care about right or wrong after that.

"President Obama said on Friday that as Congress debates the budget,“they’re focused on politics, they’re focused on trying to mess with me, they’re not focused on you.”" "mess with me"??? Probably the most arrogant statement I have ever heard a sitting President say. WTF, does that mean? The "office is more important than the man". Bill Clinton is correct, he's an "amateur".
