Hear, hear! Yes, and in their effort to destroy it, they have done away with the back to school tax free weekend. GOP, GRAND OLE PIGS. POG, PARTY OF GREED.
This just shows the ignorance of the dumbmasses! You have to spend $100 to save $7 and the goods that are on these so called "sales" that the stores are advertising were actually cheaper the month before! The "tax free" wasn't FOR the benifit of the consumers but rather the retailers.....and yet the dumbmasses are to stupid to recognize the wool pulled over their eyes! Instead you whine because the wool has been removed!

Instead of an elephant mascot, republikans should have a fat pig as their mascot and just more honestly become the POP (party of pigs). Tillis says "Oink". Berger reply's "Oink, oink." McCrory agrees with "Oink, oink oink."

This explains why the Commucrats have a jackass as their mascot! Now all he needs is a swastika hanging from its neck!

Nope! All I see is you regurgitating the liberal talking points! Again, it's the Commucrat party that believes in Collectivism, the same ideology as the communist, socialist, Marxist parties that preceded them!

Yes, I recognize it here in NC and every where else, as soon as any of the number of them open their mouths. Something is going to give here in NC one way or the other. Over five thousand people gathered in Asheville yesterday and there are thousands more to come.
There are 9.752 MILLION people in NC, 84,458 in ASSville and 5K showed up! Whoopty damn do!
But by the Commucrats standards, 5k must be a big deal!

And the FBI is controlled by who? The DOJ. Who controls the DOJ? That's right, another one of The Ruler's thugs AG Eric Holder himself! Yes, Bush started the plan, and he's no saint, but his plan was to monitor calls overseas. It was The Ruler and Thug Holder who instituted the plan domestically.....and now they've added the flying of drones over the heartland! Gotta love those Communist Thugs!

No wool here. The average household with school age children will spend aproximately $600.00 on back to school items, at a tax rate of 7%. According to you there are 9.752 million people in the state of NC. The only ones whinning are the law makers here in this state about the millions of dollars of revenue they are loosing.

And where did you find that the average household spends $600 on the "tax free" weekend? I call BS on that one! Even if it is true, the average family saved $42! The average family pisses away $42 a week but for the state that's almost $410M less they'll have to take from the taxpayers pockets!

Yes. Brainwashed into believing that since 43% of ALL jobs in metro areas require a college BS or better, the NC 's economy will be improved by destroying secondary, college and community college education .
Indoctrinated into believing that freedom of religion can be best served by establishing a state religion.
Brainwashed into believing that tax breaks for the rich and tax increases for the poor will improve business investment when investors are just sitting on over 2 trillion dollars in cash.
Indoctrinated into believe that smaller government AND FREE ENTERPRISE consists of the state seizing local property.
Brainwashed into believing that the state can become more efficient by spending a hundred million dollars preventing 0.2 persons from voting in the entire sate each year with improper ID. But its best to ignore pervasive and widespread vote buying.
Yes. Someone has been brainwashed alright, but it isn't me.

Far be it for me to agree with my arch-enemy, but in Texas people buy high ticket items to maximize their tax savings.Consumers may not be as dumb as you think.I bought a fancy TV on tax free weekend,a TV I had priced the week before. So I knew exactly what I was getting into, and what I was saving.

Poor thing, you have to deal with your anger issues! First, admit your anger! Let it flow through your huge body! Take a nice, deep breath! Ask yourself,"Why am I so angry? Why am I so mad at poor old Waco all the time? Why am I so insanely jealous of Big Tex? Why, oh why, am I so obsessed with this fine upstanding figure of a man? Then, breath out! Try it,!
