Due to the fact that the Commucrats like to play semantics, laws must be passed that address each and every situation because generalizations don't work anymore.
Ex. When one says public nudity I think of those parts of the body that would be covered by say, underwear. To a liberal, that doesn't include breast because, we'll, they're just breast, it's no big deal, so laws must be passed to INCLUDE breast as public nudity.

Question: hypothetically let's say you control the budgets for two programs. 1st program is to build statues around your state in memory of falling hero's. 2nd program is to provide life saving medicine to sick children. You have recently been told to cut one of the two programs by 30%. Which program gets the cut and why?

Funny you bring this up. I saw on the news yesterday where those Senators that are up for re-election in 2014 have asked the Ruler NOT to endorse their candidacy.
Unfortunately for all Americans, Obamacare is already to far intrenched into the healthcare system to overturn.
Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will forever be known as the ones who passed the single most destructive govt program in American History!

They are not so stupid as to believe that making more laws against something which is already illegal will make the events less likely. Republikans are just that insecure in their own manhood. They are sickos.

Yet it's another example of your socialist party's views that public nudity is not a threat to society. You are purposefully blind. Business exists to make money. If the business cannot exist without sucking on the taxpayer's teat, we do not need them. When I spend $5 K on equipment for my business, I have to pay sales tax. When a furniture plant spends a million dollars on equipment, they do not have to pay sales tax. Both businesses provide jobs, so what is the difference? Answer: I do not have the profit margin to bribe politicians, the furniture manufacturers association does have the margin to bribe them. My business is lean and unsubsidized. The others are fat and sucking tax subsidized welfare off the NC taxpayers. Same as race car owners. When I can no longer show a profit, I will close down. That is how I like it and how it should be. The business baby momas are killing the economy and the working people of this state.
Pro-American wrote:
<quoted text>Again, you answered your own question with the word "collectively."
ONE car owner provides hundreds of direct jobs and a few thousand indirect jobs while creating millions in tax revenue. ONE employee provides no jobs and creates hundreds/a few thousand in tax revenue. Without tax breaks for the car owners, or and business for that matter, the worker has no job in NC because there are 49 other states that WILL offer that break.
Surely you're not that naive?

I personally like Ted Cruz so far, he's a rising star within the party. I think we'll see Rand Paul running for the nomination in 2016, and could possible win to go head to head with Hillary. That being said, I really can't believe how hard the Cimmucrats are pushing Hillary, hasn't that horse died? Isn't there anybody else in the party that would make for a viable candidate? Between the Rulers lack of leadership and her lack of leadership in the Benghazi scandal, I would think she would be doomed but when you factor in the dumbing down of the dumbmasses, I guess anything is possible.

I agree with the first part of your rant but it was you and your party that was singing a different tune when it came to the auto bailouts.....remember, they were to big to fail?
As a small business, you don't receive the tax breaks that large corporations do because of money. It's not the money they spend to bribe as you suggested, it's the money they generate for the tax base. If your business was generating tens of millions of tax dollars for the state then you too would be offered breaks to come or stay. You call it "sucking tax subsides" but IF YOU were offered the same subsidies, you'd jump all over them!

Saying they generate tens of millions of dollars for the state is a stretch, particularly when you consider that they take even hundreds of millions in tax breaks, subsidies and forgiveness of property taxes. Everyone should pay the same sales tax rates .

The bottom line is if NC doesn't offer these tax breaks, there's 49 other states that will.
NO company is offered more in tax breaks than they'll generate in taxes, that's absurd. These breaks are offered in order to lure or maintain a certain business while knowing full well they'll generate much more in taxes to recoup the breaks and then some!

A prime example of paying zero sales tax and sucking off the taxpayer's teat is the Caldwell county deal 4 years ago when Broyhill (Furniture Brands Int.) was given over 4 million dollars in cash to actually cut jobs because they threatened to move if we didn't pay the extortion. Now Carolina Panthers owners have extorted 87 million dollars from Mecklenberg County taxpayers supposedly to build escalators in the BoA Stadium so the "sports fans" will not have to walk up stairs. They now claim that the Panthers are "teathered to Charlotte for 5 more years. Actually , Charlotte is the one which is teathered. The reason taxes on working people is so high is because the business baby mommas are sucking up tax dollars faster than working people can pay it in.. the incentive thing has gone way past incentives and into the area of dependency welfare for the rich.

I don't know much about the Caldwell/Broyhill deal but I do know about the Clt/Panthers deal.
It was Mayor Foxx who approached Richardson about the city helping with the refurbishing of the stadium, NOT Richardson approaching the city. It's a known fact that Richardson is in poor health and it was Mayor Foxx who feared if Richardson passed then the new owner/owners would relocate the team. Again, it was Foxx who approached the team with the plan of using taxpayer dollars in exchange for a commitment from the team staying in Clt for the next 30 years. Both sides negotiated and compromised on LESS tax dollars than what was originally offered in exchange for a 15 year commitment,(regardless of who the owner is). This was actually smart on Foxx's behalf because the tax dollars allocated for the project would be returned in revenue for the city in less than 5 years, leaving another 10 for pure profit. Also, lets not forget that Richardson built the stadium using money generated from PSL's and his own pocket, NO TAX DOLLARS were used in the initial construction, so the city has actually been reaping the benefits for 18 years! I would say $125M tax dollars is just a small token of thanks for all Mr Richardson has done for Clt's economy!
As far as the city being "teathered", the $125M will be paid by a 1% increase in the food tax. If you don't want to support the deal, you don't have to eat in Clt, it's that simple. It's not like the city is taxing every Clt resident, ie. Cincy, Min, etc.
Since your "facts" were all wrong about the Clt/Panthers deal, it makes me wonder if they all wrong about the Caldwell/Broyhill deal as well!

Economic development is just an euphemism for corporate welfare. Another Caldwell County example is the New River Builders deal where Caldwell county taxpayers paid out $230,000 to New River Builders to "create" 35 jobs. I drive by there every day and have never seen more than 2 cars in the parking lot. So the jobs creation never happened. Did we get our money back? You guessed correctly if you said NO. Not only did we give corporate welfare to New River Builders, but we also gave them a competitive advantage over existing building supply businesses. This is the exact opposite of free enterprise brought to you by , you guessed it , republikans.

The "facts" are that 87 million dollars will be extorted from restaurants and their patrons to pay for sports arena upgrades. A true believer in free enterprise would not steal from and stress one business (restaurants) in order to subsidize another business(Panthers). What we have here is free enterprise in reverse, or not so subtlety concealed communism.
