<quoted text>Pluralizing the word does not change the substance of our point. What was known as colonies are no longer known as such. Thus can be spoken of in the past tense. As in 'former'.
Please learn the language of our land, English.
You, and Barry, need to learn the english language. In most cases, when you take a word that is singular and you make it plural, it changes the meaning of the word.
Example:
Colony- singular, one
Colonies- plural, more than one
You are another fine example of how govt education is dumbing down Americans!

Run from the arguments and divert?

I just gave you a list of broken promises that Obama should have addressed to help the very people that continue to vote him in. I stated how Obama instead pushed a healthcare agenda that the majority of Americans want no part of. It was you who stated that Obama “may not have done all that he wanted”, it was I that said he did none of the things he stated he would do to help the poor or middle class.

I ran from nothing. You gave no statements that support Obama indeed put things in place to help the poor and middle class help themselves. I am not speaking of a HANDOUT but a hand-up!

Name the policies that Obama and his administration has put in place that are now effectively helping the poor better help themselves?

" The American auto industry is vital to our national interest as an employer and as a hub for manufacturing. A managed bankruptcy may be the only path to the fundamental restructuring the industry needs. It would permit the companies to shed excess labor, pension and real estate costs. The federal government should provide guarantees for post-bankruptcy financing and assure car buyers that their warranties are not at risk.

In a managed bankruptcy, the federal government would propel newly competitive and viable automakers, rather than seal their fate with a bailout check." ....Mitt Romney

You may concede now.

<quoted text>It looks like you were right, doomsday is just around the corner. My cow went dry the next day after the election, the chickens stopped laying eggs, the well pump crapped out, the radiator on my truck started leaking and my tractor wouldn't start. I know this is because Obama was elected and the 1% rich will not get more tax breaks. I am quite sure none of this would have happened if Mitt the Twitt had been elected because he would have leaped tall buildings with a single bound, paid off the national debt which CONGRESS ran up, put two cars in every garage and two cvhickens in every pot. Damn it!!! My eyes are swollen and my nose is stopped up from all the whining, bitching, crying, pissing and moaning. And to think this will last for at least another 4 years!! Hell, I think I will just move to PR where my racist ass will be put out of my misery when I express my racism to the locals.
And it is painfully obvious your business is failing because if it was turning a profit, you wouldn't be antagonistic or supporting the for see able taxes looming.

As one of the posters said below this article, Obama carried California. Now many of those with probably a good lifestyle never knew what was going to hit them because the layoffs were announced after the election results. Looks like their happy asses will be moving forward, right on out the door.

<quoted text>First, I am pretty sure under Obama, you will get a tax cut, as I am sure you are not making over 250k per year. So all this bluster is for some rich guy that you are fighting for, not yourself. So quit acting as if it is you who is in the position of having his taxes raised.

We are well aware you have no concern for others who are on hard times. Your Jesus would be proud.
The goal was to get there. And what do you care what Jesus said, you're a non believer.

Really? Is this all you got? Obama is an American. In fact, he is the most powerful American in America.
When you extremists come to terms with this fact, America will be one step closer to being united. Stop dividing America with this crap. Lets worry about the real problems America faces.
The point is that the leader of fascism, the commander in chief, president of the United Socialist States of America doesn't know the history of the very country that he is failing to lead!
United!?! I believe the popular vote of the election shows that his ineffective leadership has divided this country more than ever!

Not mention GM is in financial trouble again. All of this AFTER the union and execs were taking care of and the taxpayers were left holding an unpaid debt.

Since Obama won another term will he bail the "to big to fail" out again??

It appears to me that Obamas best interest doesn't always align with the interest of the American people.
