Where is your god now?

The POPE now says if you're an atheist or agnostic you can still go to heaven. Just live a moral life and listen to you conscience and when you die and face GOD you can convert on the spot and be saved. I can’t find that verse in the Bible but if the POPE says it, it must be true.

I wouldn't count it.

the pope isn't God.

to answer the initial question of the title of this thread though,

my God is just exactly where He has always been, on His throne in

heaven.

The catholic church has taken it upon themselves to play a role they aren't qualified for. There isn't a man or woman now on the face of this earth that can forgive sins. It does not one bit of good to roll up into confession and feed the priest's ears with what sins you have been up to since you last chose to come tell him about it. Just fodder for gossip and fantasy.

If you're looking at the catholic church as the example of God,
keep right on looking.

Bubba.......for someone so confident in their religious beliefs.......you expend an incredible amount of energy attempting to convince everyone your beliefs and morals are the only ones with any validity.......should you be a confident in what you believe.......your one testimony would be sufficient. Please.....consider that the world is a diverse place, that is populated with beings with diverse ideas and beliefs. Our creator, whomever, we believe that to be, created us with the ability to think and question the meaning of our existence ...........and using that inate ability we form our beliefs.......each as valid as the other.

I find it ironic very few "religious" people actually understand the variousness in beliefs. Islam and Christianity are the same through Abraham. Then the question of the first born arises. Islam by nature is a peaceful religion, with much stricter laws regarding following biblical law. Islam does not allow changes in interpretation based on social acceptability. Because Christianity beliefs changed based on social trends over the years, Islam deems it wrong. The bond between Jews and Christians confuse me as Christianity is based solely on the belief of Jesus , yet Jews don't believe Jesus was the messiah. I am missing the bond here. Most Christians quickly defend Jews because they are told too but have no understanding why. I myself am agnostic which is not the same as atheist. I believe in a higher god but just not sure of the how's and the who's. If today's local organized religion is any example of religion in general, then I feel I am on the right path. At least I don't pretend to be something I'm not, i dont think because I donate 10% and spend an hour in church that gives me the right to judge others or the right to act as I wish 6 days a week only to be saved again on Sunday . Doubt it works that way.

You state uneducated people like that??, I could barely make sense of your post.. If education is a sign of being gay, well, I hate to tell you but you may have missed your calling. Just for the record, most in the gay lifestyle regularly hold higher levels of education than the public in general. Before you start tossing education into the mix, I would suggest learning to spell correctly and form a half decent sentence. That's just my opinion.

Don't let"religious"people tell you what is right.Read the Bible, decide for yourself. The hypocrites of religion, the ones who act as if they are better than everyone else, aren't the real ones. They obscure the Truth. But, they can't conceal the Truth.

One belief is as valid as another? Nazis believed that Jews were vermin. Is that belief as valid as any other? Either a belief is valid, or it isn't.If everyone is right, who then is wrong? That New Age BS is rotting your brain.

Since most scientists agree that life couldn’t have just happened on Planet Earth we now turn to the cosmos for help explaining where life came from. Eventually they will accept the truth “Life was created”

The explosive collisions of icy comets with planets and moons generated the vital building blocks of life, spreading these necessary ingredients throughout the solar system, researchers say. "The important implication is that the complex precursors to life are widespread, thus increasing the chances of life evolving elsewhere," study co-author Mark Price, a space scientist at the University of Kent in England

I am amazed at the amount of faith that evolutionists exhibit.
To really stop and think about all the intricate aspects of the scientific actions and interactions that would have had to have occurred for evolution to be fact takes much more faith than believing in CREATOR GOD.

Let's think about it a little deeper. We start out with planets, comets and heavenly bodies. Where did they originate from?

We move forward to the idea of each holding a building block of life according to what the Fox news post says. Where did those building blocks come from?

The idea then proceeds to be that each of these heavenly bodies had some type of contact with each other at some place in time-this interaction would be essential to combine all the building blocks of life in order to yield life.

There is the vastness of the heavens beyond our galaxy, and our solar system-space goes on forever and ever. Some comets/planets/debris that have one particle of a building block of life would feasibly be trillions of light years away from another necessary building block of life on another comet/planet/star/heavenly body. Probability of those bodies ever meeting in their orbital patterns is so astoundingly mind boggling for minuteness that it's unreal.

I can go much further with this line of thought...

So, say after

We have all the building blocks, we have the atoms, molecules, amino acids etc… and still with all our science, all our knowledge and all our computers we still cannot recreate the origins of life.
How can people who think of themselves as intelligent still believe that life just created itself?
