City denies zoning request

As usual these hicks are scared to death of change. This place called morganton is 20 yrs behind any way. People want this place to become a retired old folks home. Morganton does not have shit.

I don't know why they won't rezone this land. Most of it abuts Burkemont Ave. and a chain drug store wants to build there.

It already is an old folks home around here. Thats one reason we have to drive all the way to Hickory or Ashville just to get stuff we need.

does the fact that i own a house that you most likely drive by everyday near downtown area or the fact that you use one of the facilities that i manage once in awhile. Does the fact that I have more than you or that anyone has more than you, insult you, bother you? Education my friend, Education!!!!!!
