I never thought id have to go back and give plasma to try and make ends meet, but here I am. It's been several years since I went and I know things have changed. Does anyone go to do this? Who pays the most and who's the fastest with it? I think theres octapharma, zlb, csr, and maybe another one. I just don't want to waste my time at one place if another pays more or is faster. Thanks for any info! And before anyone starts bashing, I do have a job, but thanks to the economy, hours are few and I need some extra to make ends meet.

You should donate. Blood and plasma should not be sold. Heard of karma? If you do good things good things happen for ypu

Couldn't be much money involved in selling your plasma.

I do plenty of good when the opportunity arises. Damn, why do people have to avoid the question by stating irrelevant things? No. There's not much money involved, but it helps with gas, utilities, and other bills. And no. I'm not just donating. If I had back the amount of money I've handed out and the value of deeds I've done, I'd be sittin high and pretty right now financially. Why don't you go to work for 5 hours and just tell them not to worry about paying you? Yeahhhhh, not so enticing huh?

My daughter worked at Octapharma...lots of druggies and several assaults were deciding factors for her to quit. I do believe they have all started using a visa type card that they load your payment onto. Supposed to be safer than handing out cash. I'm not sure how much they pay now. Maybe $50 for the first and $40 thereafter. I applaud you for doing everything you can to support your family and saving lives as well! It's a very selfless thing to do! I hope things get better for you and yours!

I did it at CL plasma in Evansville. It's $50 ur first two times. It's on a Visa card. Be prepared to stay like three hrs ur first trip. It's not a pleasant environment but not as bad as you think either

Csl pays 50 your first five times...as long as you weigh over 150. 30 if your under. 20 dollars after that on it first visit and 40 on your second visit of the week. But ur right prepare 3 to 4 hours ur first trip.
