Those shirt they are wearing are tacky and tastless. The only "Ervin Dynasty" I will ever remember is Gary and Bud embezzling millions of dollars from that company that time. "The Jade Account"
I don't see any "facts" mentioned anywhere in your post. I see your personal opinion - you believe their shirts are tacky and tasteless. That's a matter of opinion. Next I see you've mentioned a vague incident that contains not one fact. You write about "that company that time." What company? What time? When? Where? You have NO facts, just some vague local gossip that makes you feel important.

Who is "Robert reconcile"? What does this have to do with anything on this post? Ran a Google on "Jade Trading Company" and got several hits, but none were located locally and none had names affiliated with people from UC.

Moral of the story: Never trust someone selling a tax shelter idea. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.

Personally I think they are good people and we all make mistakes but I think their lawyers and accountants ate more to blame

I agree with your assessment. I visit my CPA/accountant each year, and it's not for his good company or for his conversation skills. I go there with one objective - that he'll find every deduction possible to reduce my tax payment to the government. Spare me from dealing with some slick SOB tax consultant from NYC or Chicago whose advice is so complicated that I have to hire someone to explain it to me.

You would be surprised how many people do tax shelters. Cant blame em for trying to keep some cash. I just dont see why people are disgruntled with the ervins unless you got fired from their business or they bought somthing you were after

If I sold my business that I had worked hard building from scratch, it would not matter if it brought 40M or 40K, I still would hate to see the IRS get 30 or 40% or more of all I had worked to build. I would be looking for tax shelters too. They got bad advice from a shyster.
