Regardless, if your not apart of the committee you don't know the facts so why run your mouth, you're just making yourself sound more stupid which I'm not sure if that could be done. If you had a good time like I did, good for you, get the word out to have it again, they need sponsors. If you didn't, don't run your mouth about things you know nothing of to make this event sound bad because you're butt hurt Just go on with your life, sorry you didn't get your way. And if you have a complaint, they have an office with a telephone number, a Facebook, a twitter & a website, talk to them about it not people on topic behind a screen name.

I could care less if they have another one or not. In fact, I hope they loss money big time. They are lying greedy people. They promised my son a pass if he worked there as a volunteer. He worked 24 hours and when asked about the pass they told him he wouldn't be getting one, then had the nerve to ask him to park cars during the event. And he wasn't the only one that they did this too. If they want to do this, then they should honor their promises.
So you say he worked 24 hours. Hmm... the whole event was hardly that long. He may have helped setting up the stage before hand. Don't know, but I highly doubt that he worked 24 hours. It was announced that the KMA worked parking, so where did he fit in there. Your story has more holes than a fishing net. Better luck next time.

He worked security before the event. Stayed ther all night Wednesday night and Thursday night, so before you do your damn deducing, get a brain, and Holly, you wouldnt know either unless your on the committee, and if you are, then your just as guilty as the one that did it to him, and my name is Roger Godbehere, if you need to know.

and I didnt have anything against them having it if you had read my post, it was about them not keeping their promises. If they cant do that to their volunteer workers, then what I said I stand by, could care less if they have another one or if they made any money. You should take care of your workers, wether they are volunteers, or part of the committee that egts paid.

The committee does not get paid. They put in their time as volunteers. That is what a nonprofit charity event is about. It is about raising money for others, not lining their own pockets. If the people on this site knew what they were talking about it would be great.

Great job to the committee for putting on a great show. I hope that they can get it together again next year. It is such a great thing for our community. I will definitely go back as a vip.

I do know your son and saw him working out there, if he was promised anything he needs to take it up with the person who hired him because it was them who promised not the committee. No, I'm not on the committee but my parents are, along with my aunt, uncle and close friends.

then take it up with billy, not topix. If your a 24 year olds father I'm figured youd be mature enough to but obviously not if you're stopping to a high schoolers maturity to talk bad about people on a website.

I dont go talk to them because I have a yemper, bad one and just airing my feelings, which I think as an American I have that right, just saying, wether it was my son or others, when you make a promise, you should honor it.
