Who really cares who is making money on this event or any event as long as you get what you paid for. I mean to you hate the owner of McDonalds for profiting while feeding your toothless momma? Dou you hate the owners of Rite Aide for profiting from selling you supplies to make your next batch of crank? No you don't. You are obviously jealous when people succeed from an idea that will bring additional money to the community and county that will hopefully help the area grow and provide better things for the citizens to do other than sit and get high and b1tch about someone else's success.

But McDonalds does not claim to be a "Not for profit charity"

Do you think that the CEO of charitable organizations do not get paid? Do you think property owners of other events held by charitable organizations don't get paid?

Either way, I have not seen anything that said this event was for charity.

I didn't see the same comments about the Big O Music Fest last month, which leads me believe that you have some personal issue against someone involved in this event. Maybe you should take some of this negative energy that you have toward improving this community and do something good with it. Like building a home for wayward dumba$$es because I am sure that the event will be just fine with or without you or your opinion. It's really too bad they cannot charge you more for your ticket because I am sure you will be there.

Who cares we are having a country music fest in sturgis. You know how crazy that is. I don't give a shit who's making the money as long as they keep putting on events like this.

And there's another moron on topics who has no idea what they are talking about. Not everyone in this world is criminal or out to steal something from someone. But it does appear that there is a select group of idiots who take pride in throwing out slanderous statements about things they know nothing about.

People----if you want more stuff like this to do in the county then they have to charge money for things in order to pay the bills and make money for future events. Some of you would complain if they were handing out drinks for free. You do not have to drink to go and have fun and hear some great music. Have you ever been anywhere and bought a drink. Bottom line is quit complaining. If you want to go and have good time then GO. If you want to complain about everything then STAY home. It costs money to go anywhere and do anything. There prices are great for the line up they have. Think of all the ticket prices you would pay if you went to see these artists individually.

your arguement about going to see these artist individualy does not hold up. if you went to see them they would do a 2 hour set not 30 min. no one on here is complaining about the gate price just the beer price. which is high and you cant argue that point at a 500% mark up.
