I just finished reading how a man armed with a bat was shot and killed by responding police officers. It's hard for me to believe that they have not been trained in how to avoid a wooden bat, I find this disturbing that trained professionals seem to quick to shoot suspects. Then they file a report that can say anything in order to justify their own actions.
On the night of 8/10/2012 about 9:15 pm while parked I noticed a white mustang pull up and about 5 people get out and ran toward the gate leading into the complex where I live, which there was already about 10 other people was rushing into a residence that has 3 small children,@ which time they assaulted a member in the home. This person and his brother in law was able to get the attackers out side where the fighting continued, and continued down the street at which time he got tired fighting 6 to 8 people and then he pulled a weapon in order to defend his self. As the Police show up that have no ideal as to what is going on, and the only thing they can know is what they see, a man with a gun. They order him to put his hands up and as he does that they shoot him, and now he is in the hospital fighting for his life once again. He fought the gang members regardless of the amount of blood he lost in order to defend his family - loved ones, and now he is fighting for his life. If he wins this fight for his life, then he is also forced with another fight with the Courts for wounding one of the attackers.

How about I stand 20 feet from you and then rush you with a bat in my hands, and you have 6 seconds to react.

Would you try to reason with me?
Would you think that your training in Judo would kick in?
Or do you think (since you have seen it done on the "Dukes of Hazzard" at least once) you would shoot the 4 inch wide bat out of my hands with your revolver?

Just say'in.

The San Bernardino police get away with a lot ..I know first hand how it is cause the San Bernardino PD killed my brother...they tryed to say he had a gun and all he had was a cell phone. So sad that someone's life can be cut so short by the people that are suppose to protect us.
