At a benefit concert Saturday for 17-year-old Moreno Valley slaying victim Norma Lopez, Moreno Valley City Councilman Jesse Molina and Moreno Valley school board member Victoria Baca took to the stage to address the crowd during a break in the music.

Baca, who is up for re-election.

As others also initially made remarks in keeping with the theme of the day, calling on parents to be extra vigilant in supervising their children.

Baca concluded her remarks with "God bless the Lopez family and don't forget, Victoria Baca."

Beyond tacky. She should apologize to the family for saying this.

Amazing! Some people really can't see past themselves! That was in VERY poor taste Victoria Baca. Shame on you for taking political advantage of this tragedy! She may have been convicted, and rightly so, but it will mean nothing if the sentence lacks any true consequences.

Victoria Baca is truly a piece of work. Too bad she didn't get sentenced before the November election.

This is so tacky. Show support for the family but don't be an idiot. Just think, this person is on the school board. No wonder education is so pathetic in this state.

-NiceKittyKat
Baca doesn't care about education. She is only on the board since she wants "power" to push her pro-illegal agenda.

TRUTH Baca is about Baca, Not Our Kids!

The fact of the matter is that you are taking advantage of "Norma Lopez" for your agenda by posting these lies of what actually happened, SHAME ON YOU!
Firstly; The family actually contacted Molina and Baca whom were instrumental in making the event happen.
Secondly SHE DID NOT SAY DON'T FORGET VICTORIA BACA, SHE SAID DON'T FORGET TO VOTE.
And why do you not mention the fact that Bonnie Flickinger was the one at the event campaigning herself for re-election!

Show me proof of what Molina and Baca did to help organize. And Proof that Bonnie was the one campaigning herself.

The Topic was by The News. Sorry if it got you upset. I believe the reporter was reporting NEWS. No taking advantage of anything outside of NEWS.
