What Have You Ever Done For The City of Moreno Valley?

May 26, 2010 Full story: 47

That is a question which seems to be ever popular by those in support of Highland Fairview's Iddo Benzeevi. We have heard this question posed by Iddo Benzeevi, planning Commissioner Michael Geller, as well as councilmember's Molina, Hastings, Batey and now Richard Stewart.

This same question has been directed at any individual who dares step before the Moreno Valley city council, in opposition to any issue which is connected in any way to Highland Fairview or Iddo Benzeevi himself, by other members of the public who routinely speak on behalf of Mr. Benzeevi, such as members of The Mexican Political Association, The Moreno Valley Parents Association, and Delbert (Raul) Wilson, Moreno Valley school board member Victoria Baca, her daughter Elena Santa Cruz, Pete Bleckert, as well as Librada Murillo just to name a few.

Who really gives a hoot how many times it took before it posts, happens to the best of us. Sometimes it is the fault of the site.

No big deal.

Point out what?

First off there was only two identical posts. That was caused by the first not posting so I re-posted, which then caused two identical posts.

The first post of the THREE is not the same.

The last post is aimed at you, specifically the fact that you are not perfect. I pointed out your various errors in your post as well.

So no there wasn't four posts, as you math would claim.

I did note however that you are not saying that the article is in some way incorrect, only that you seem to lack the ability to do what most adults are able to do.

You see a well passed around email shows many sentences full of grammatical errors, and misspelled words. Yet people can still read and comprehend them all. However you must be in that small minority.

Good Day.

Shame on you Visitor for trying to embarass MVGoride. Us old folks dont write so well in our old age. And, maybe Gordie didn't have much schooling in his younger days, so I can understand what he's saying. I remember that we had to stop going to school to help our parents out. I betcha old Gordie is just like meself. So find something else to do. Scat!now you young feller.

Visitor,
"It also seems like it's saying our citizens are brave for "daring"to walk the streets at night. Or do you mean we dared NOT walk at night. It's kind of confusing. Would you clarify?"
It would seem that both are equally the same, so no clarification should be needed.
I might point out however that a space should be used after the second quotation mark after the word "daring."
"The part about"our communities in dead" What do you mean? our communities are dying?"
Again a space between the word "about" and the quotation mark "our," should have been used.
Also you may wish to start a new sentence with a capital letter, as opposed to a lowercase one, as you did here after the question mark following the word "mean."
This also brings into question why the use of capitalization of the word "what," following your statement; "The part about"our communities in dead"
It appears that the sentence didn't end at that point. No period was used, nor any other form of symbol which would have called for the use of the capitalization of what.
As you can see, it is quite easy to nitpick away at anything.
CountryRose,
"Shame on you Visitor for trying to embarass MVGoride."
That's mvgordie, and it is embarrass, not embarass.
"Us old folks dont write so well in our old age."
That's don't,not dont.
"I betcha old Gordie is just like meself."
That's myself, not meself.
"Scat!now you young feller."
There should be a space between Scat! and now. Also the word now should have been capitalized. Maybe you meant, Scat now you young feller!
I see CountryRose, is a lot more like that young feller Visitor (maybe even that Espinoza mujer ramera).

Embarrassed? Embarrassed about what?

The way I see it, it is those people who have nothing of substance to add or take away from an article, but to act like little children and pick apart them for typos and grammatical errors, only to produce their own in the post they write.

This isn't a school but a place for debate, and or expression of one opinion. If it is classroom training you seek look somewhere else.

It isn't a sign of embarrassment, to show one their own errors, or give them the same disrespect they give other.

Maybe it is you who were embarrassed, and chose to not use a proxy server, and used a new nick so as to hide your embarrassment.

You can read through every post on this site and find typos, errors in grammar and so on. Big deal, it happens to everyone here, and will continue to happen, and yes more than likely by me but I am not embarrassed by it.

The way I see it, if I didn't write articles or choose article to bring to this site, half the people who visit here would stop coming, so I must be doing something right.

Young man, Guest, or young lady as you might be, you sure write like old Gordie. That fine fellow I wrote about earlier.
Guest: If you and old Gordie know so much about the english language and its rules, Why doesn't old Gordie write like that without young fellows like Visitor pointing out his mistakes. And no, I don't think it's nitpicking, as Gordie calls it and you copied him.
Did you notice, and I hope you all did, that Gordie went back and corrected his mistakes after this Visitor fellow pointed out that some sentences did not make sense. Like when he said our communities are in dead. Indeeed and in dead are not close.
Guest/Gordie: I know this kid who cuts my grass who has been taking ESL classes at a high school who could help out Gordie with his writing. Just last week I dictated a letter to him for my sister in Alabama. This darn fellow wrote better than I ever could. As a matter of fact, he's typing this as I talk. So, please excuse any grammatical errors as english is his second language and he is learning. But I think good old Gordie could use him. Gordie/Guest, leave me your number and he'll contact you. Just don't call the immigration on him. See you, you old two dogs! Want have some moonshine? You know, the way we use to have it in the South?

CountryRose;

I am capable of speaking for myself. I was being an ass, and personally came on here to attack mvgordie, because I was asked to.
I read his article and was able to understand what he was saying. Like I said I was just being an ass.
Yes, I did notice that he corrected his mistakes.I expected nothing less from him, because he did thank me for the spell check, and noticing his errors.
CountryRose, Don't you realize that there are enough people to hate in the world already without you putting in so much effort.

Oh what a fun time we're having here, debating as our friend Gordon calls it.
A couple of things; Post # 29, the fellow who calls himself "Visitor", you can't fool me. You aren't the same Visitor as in the earlier posts. That fellow writes much better than you. I have a feeling you're just using his name. Can't fool an old lady like me!
But, You did hit the nail on the head, though, as we like to say, You are an ASS!Just like the ones on Reche Canyon! More or less. Gordon, I'm not calling you an ASS, it's that fellow Guest.

Gordie, my dear, you too are right. I agree when you wrote: "this isn't a school but a place for debate, and or expression of one opinion""
That's what us white folks like to say down south. There's only ONE opinion. You said it Gordon, this is a place for the expression of ONE opinion. And that is the opinion of us white folks who are used to all other races being below us.
Them other races don't matter. Damn, Gordon, you finally, told the truth. One opinion is only accepted here. Got that you Mexican folks. Me and Gordie will call you names if you don't agree with our ONE opinion.
Gordie, I'm starting to like you. Why don't we try to get an initiative passed here in Moreno Valley that would get rid of those MexiCANS. We could be like them folks in Arizona. Make them pass a reading or writing test before they can set up residence here in our own little town. What do you say G?
But let's put a clause in there, Gordon. Us white folks won't have to take that darn test, cause you know me and you wouldn't pass it either. I would have to get my little Mexican gardener to take the test for me. Gordon, do you have anyone in your family who can read or write proper english?
Maybe that fellow Guest could do it?
Let me know Gordie. I have another Mexican friend who owns a printer shop who can make fliers for our own initiative: We can call it........

Gordie: You can't have a "debate" when only ONE opinion is allowed. If both parties have only ONE opinion they would both be in agreement and consequently there would be NO debate. JMHO.

Old lady I have no idea what kind of game you are playing. Posts#12,#16,#21,#29 belong to me. Like I said I was being an ass. I can admit when I am wrong. I do not know this woman/man and I am not playing good cop bad cop with her/him.
Like I said, I was asked to come on her and heckel you. I was told to look for spelling and grammar mistakes.
Once again I'm sorry. I have nothing to do with this nut job.
She/he is the kind of woman/man that you would use as a blueprint to build an idiot.

Show me where you have voiced an opinion. There have been many different views here. However some of what is posted has nothing to do with debate, and is treated as such.

Most of which comes from people like yourself. You claim there is no debate on an issue, yet you haven't even addressed an article, just a lot of smart talk.

Addressing me or critiquing me isn't debate, but if that's the avenue you wish to take, then don't complain if it comes back at you, if it didn't then you would be the one with a one-sided opinion stance.

You have a style of your own, no matter what screen name you use. That said you can't blame me that the majority of people here don't seem to see things your way.

Go look at the Press Enterprise Site, you will see that Alicia and those like her, are in the minority wherever they post, and she never addresses an article, just the same old mvgordie crap.

Bottom line is if you don't like what you see here, SEE YA, we DON"T NEED YA!

Here,

This isn't a school but a place for debate, and or expression of ONES opinion.

The way I see it, people like you who have nothing of substance to add or take away from an article, but to act like little children and pick them apart for typos and grammatical errors.

So now find yourself a new screen name, and maybe a new game. I see you haven't addressed your own errors that you made under one of your many names. I guess you seem to think this is a one-sided issue, YOUR SIDE.

Liberal Jim;

I will answer your question, just as soon as you ask Visitor that same question.

After all it was he/she who called CountryRose an old lady, a nut job,and a blueprint to build an idiot.

Now let me ask you a question. Why do you feel it is ok for you to address mvgordie as Gordie. I think that would be inappropriate for you to do. I think first name basis is reserved for friends.I hardly think that is the case here. So one could conclude that you are just being rude and disrespectful.

Peaches and... I don't want one opinion. All I said was that you cant have a "debate" if only one opinion is allowed. To have a debate you need differences on an issue. Sir Gordon wrote that only ONE opinion is allowed. Do you understand that?
And, as a matter of fact, peaches and cream with a little sugar on top might not be delicious. That's YOUR opinion but not a fact.
Did you know that 3rd grade students learn to distinguish between fact and opinion.
That's what MVG does not seem to understand. That there is a big difference between facts and opinion. And on this site if we don't agree with Gordon, sorry for being rude, we are all called Alicia Espinoza or worse. Whoever that woman might be. So go ahead and start the name calling.
