Why doesn't this man just tell the police where these boys are? They will find out eventually anyway.

Absolutely sad- kids don't asked to be brought into this world but less being taken out by the incubator. God, I only hope the end was swift and they are with you.

I've been following this story an it makes me absolutely sick. He knows exactly what he did and where those children are. The poor excuse for a human being and father was mad because of his marriage problems and he selfishly killed those kids. Then he didn't have the guts to do himself in - instead he ran for help - for HIMSELF. Suddenly HE wants to live. And he doesn't want to take responsibility for what he has done - if he had an ounce of love for those kids - he'd take the police to them so they wouldn't have to spend one more day rotting in some wooded area or dump.

Two adults with out any values or decency can't get their own lives straight and at least try to pretend to be normal - instead they use the children as pawns in their little love spat war and the kids end up suffering while the two idiot parents are surrounded by people that feel sorry for them and want to protect them.

Who was protecting those kids? Who was protecting them from their parents? I think I'll puke when Skelton's mother shows up on TV again saying what a wonderful father her son is...

Seems to me, he's trying to seem as pathetic as he possibly can.

They ought to waterboard him.

I guess I would like to know why the mother has not been out looking for them at all? If I was this mother, I would be searching high and low for them, not sitting in my house ignoring everyone!

This whole thing is sad. I could care less about the parents who supposedly loved their children. Between his ominous Facebook message, lies about the woman who he left his boys with, and his failed attempt at hanging himself (seriously, who fails at that unless they aren't really trying?!), this man has guilt written all over him. These poor innocent boys need proper justice... and unfortunately but most likely, a proper burial.

I only hope and pray that these boys get home safely. Even though we all know the odds, you have to have hope for these boys.

This is such a sad story. It only takes one person to talk and tell the truth about what happened to these three little angles.

Like others have said who cares what the parents are going through they both had 3 boys they should have been their number one priority. Instead they were caught up in their bull***t and now they are missing or possibly worse.

There are to many people in this world that would have loved to had them ... so to me there is NO reason these boys should not be in a nice warm loving home getting ready for Christmas just like any other child.

I didn't see the 'facebook' garbage...

I have two kids - I'd die protecting them before I'd let someone hurt them. The thought of doing something to them is beyond my scope of thought or reason. Heck - I couldn't hurt my dog let alone my child!

When parents do this kind of stuff - it's not about 'saving' the kids or 'ending their suffering'- that's BS. It's all about the parent: they're angry and they use the child to get back at the other parent, they're selfish and they either don't want the other parent to have the kids or they are just tired of having kids and their life will be easier without them and finally they are 'mad at the world' and they choose to deprive the world of everything they have - the kids are the most valuable thing they have to make their 'statement'...

This was no 'mercy' killing. This was a cold and calculated plan to make someone (probably his ex-wife) pay for his crappy circumstances. Circumstances he brought on himself. You don't marry a 'farked-up' person and expect a great life to come from your union. The ONLY thing these two losers produced that was of ANY worth are their kids... And now they're gone.

this guy is running people ragged, so many people are giving up their time and freezing in the cold looking for these boys. If he had any decency to him al all, he would tell the police where they are for everyones sake.

As I read these stories about missing and murdered people, first 3 in Knox County, then another 3 in Columbus and now these three kids, I am wondering why we are becoming so callous towards the plight of troubled parents. I think that maybe if we offered them a compassionate non-judgmental helping hand in the first place then maybe, just maybe we might have avoided all of this in the first place, or at least some of it. Something's gotta give.

Hmmm, seems to me that extridicting him may not be a good idea. The Judge in Ohio stated that IF the children are found dead in Ohio he will face the death penalty. Michigan doesn't have that.

IF.. he did it, execute him very quickly, as the Chinese do it, not 12-17 yrs later like our system of capital criminal injustice. My heart goes out to the rest of the family's involved. This is all to sad.

If there is an existing conflict of interest considering the court, that could be a reasonable request to remain in Ohio even if temporarily. There are a few laws that Ohio has, that would not necessarily be evident in Michigan--which may be important to review considering the complexity of this situation. That would probably be better reviewed by the Feds since it's an interstate issue. There seems to be quite a few people involved with these missing children. Does anyone know if it is a Federal Judge or a State Judge that reviews requests like this? Perhaps someone could chime in.

Because they're calling it kidnapping at this point - and there is a strong possibility that the kids were taken across state lines - it could be under federal jurisdiction. The fed's would have to take it away from the state (Ohio or Michigan).

It may also be dependent upon where the children were killed (if they were - but at this point I don't think that's a stretch of the imagination to believe that they are already deceased). If they were killed in Michigan - Michigan may have jurisdiction and the right to try him here. If they were killed in Ohio - they were transported across state lines in the commission of the crime so Ohio may get first dibs at prosecuting him - if the fed's don't choose to do so.

And from NANA: "I guess I would like to know why the mother has not been out looking for them at all? If I was this mother, I would be searching high and low for them, not sitting in my house ignoring everyone!"

If this would have happened to even one of my children, let alone 3, I believe I would have to be sedated to keep me from going crazy and holing up in a corner like an animal, screaming. The mother has to be almost out of her mind with grief, she has no duty to show herself to the public and satisfy our morbid curiosity in seeing her horrendous torment publicly displayed. I pray for her, the poor soul. Can't even imagine the pain.
