I don't drink because I hate the taste of alcohol. So do I still have serious psychological problems?

You should contact your nearest manliness center and trade your male organs for a kitten calendar and a copy of Dirty Dancing.

Actually, alcohol, as long as it's not overused, is kind of a miracle liquid. For long periods in human history, the water around population centers was dirty and contaminated and alcohol (granted, often diluted) was the only safe thing to drink. Monks brewed dopplebock by using more grains to provide adequate nutrition and serve as "liquid bread" to sustain themselves through their fasting over Lent.
Once again, the lessons are: moderation and self control.

Personally I am a little wary of people who don't drink. In my experience usually they are religious fanatics (Baptists, Mormons & Muslims) or are people who are unable to control themselves (alcoholics), or very rigid people afraid to lower their inhibitions and allow their true nature to show. Often there is an overlap of these negative traits.
I know I'm not alone in thinking this. Several writers have noted that you shouldn't trust people who don't drink for a variety of reasons.
What about you?

Alcohol is absolute trash. It smells like piss, taste horrible, and makes people in bumbling idiots. I despise it.

BTW, beer has a lot of vitamins, silicon for strong bones and is good for hydration contrary to popular belief.
Anybody who doesn't drink needs a psychological evaluation.
Are you by any chance mentally challenged? Based on your statement drunks are the healthiest people alive, when it couldn't be further from the truth.

Why is alcohol so popular? It numbs the mind, making people into complete fools, has a horrible taste, and odor, is pointlessly called a "social lubricant", and becomes an addiction to many people.

Hell no I don't trust people who don't drink! I don't trust people who do drink either. Or people who wear brown shoes or hats. Come to think of it I don't trust any of you.

Trust in God (and maybe your momma), hold everyone else with suspicion. I have been burned more than once trusting in someone who was supposed to be my friend only to get betrayed.

Maybe I am slightly pessimistic :)

What?? I was under the impression it made me smart, funny and attractive. Unfortunately I appear to be the only one under that impression :)

I have to confess I have done my share of stupid stuff in this life ... all while drinking. Nuff said ...
