Both are pyramid (multi-level sales) companies. Neither received Better Business Burea good ratings. There are supplements out there that can do the same things..along with diet and excersise. No one can go their whole life maintaing weight through a "supplement" drink. A healthy lifestyle and long term good eating habits do that.

First of all, I can't stand mlm and all the phony hype involved, seen in, been there, easy to get caught up in. Have made some money with it, I prefer making a REAL living. At the end of the day my conscience would not let me continue in this industry.

Saying that, there are outstanding products found in direct sales. I have tried Visalus, tastes okay, but on the advice of a doctor friend, I would not take it long term because it is a cheap product based on soy(a cheap way to formulate products).

I take one of Zija's products for energy and a couple of other products from other direct sales companies(I have actually investigated the science behind them). Do your homework people, don't be blind sided by unattainable financial promises. I DO NOT PROMOTE ANY mlm company, just an unbiased opinion here....

Well Im a promoter for Body By Vi and I really enjoy it with two shakes a day. I see my body changing and my life changing health wise. I had high blood pressure taking two pills a day and after 2 months I was down to one pill a day. If you want to change your health just one shake a day will do it. To be honest I tried Zija first but my heart was racing alot and I was told not to take the tea too late casue i might not sleep and with body by vi my heart doesn't race. I had the best experience with Body By Vi and I will keep taking one shake a day to feel great and have all the vitamins that i need. Everyone is different and yes somethings do work for others and some don't! so do what your body tells you. Body By Vi is for me and maybe not for you.

I have done a complete 180 with bodybyvi! I have lost 60lbs and changed my financial situation completely around! I earned my BMW bonus in 2 mths! Now I own my own business, not from making a quota But from helping people with issues just like me! I struggle still to lose weight but I can say that the shakes are amazing and good for you! Not sure about Zija, I have heard great things for it too!

OR you can eat right and work out and have sustainable weight loss. Not just overpriced crap that helps you lose a little for a little bit.
Actually a person can't solely rely on the old excuse of "Just eat better and exercise". Today food has been striped of more than 70% of it's nutritional value. That is why in today's day and age more people suffer from new diseases year after year (Type II diabetes, fybromialga, high blood pressure, arthritis, ADHD, etc...)
Unfortunately food isn't winning anymore...not even produce.
Moringa Oliefera is the main ingredient in the Zija products (let's say the Smartmix). Smartmix is just pure, organic food made with Moringa. 100% bioavailable & the most nutrient dense botanical on earth. Zija as a company is passionate about helping people get their health back. Losing weight is a great side effect when you put pure "nutrition" in the body...not synthetic ingredients....like what you see in Visalus products and other weightloss companies. Yes they are FADS...Zija is 100% NOT "One of those things". If you actually do proper reasearch on the plant and how Zija makes it, you will see the truth. Speak to Zija clients who no longer suffer from the symptoms of the diseases I mentioned above (+ 300 more) and you'll know what I mean.
It changed my life, my daughters and so many people I care for.
Zija is real and is here to stay!:D

What happens when the pyramid collapses? Will these products still be available? Both of these companies is no more than the typical pyramiad scheme. I have had several people "friends" that have tried to get me signed up for both. Not one person stresses the "health benifit" as much as they stress how I should become my own boss. How to get this free and that free, nothing in life is free and nothing with these two companies is free. I am not knocking the product because I know nothing about it but the friends that I know that is doing these show no weight loss what so ever. They keep telling how they are loosing all this weight but I can tell no difference. If somebody looses 40 or 50 pounds that would be noticable. In short if somebody is tryin to get you to try either of these what they are really wanting you to do is be a distributor under them to help keep the pyramid going. Only ones that make any money is the ones at the top people at the bottom will be lucky to get their money back.

With itworks the benefits are using the products at discount as well as wanting to become more healthy and choose better lifestyles easier access to do just that. I sell it I use it and I am more healthier then I ever have been not to mention I have less stretchmarks and find more confidence in myself. Oh and I make money doing it. The pyramid scheme works. I love it....

Anyone know anything about this stuff?
Although sales reps do have a quota to meet, ViSalus works and is healthy for you too! Not only do you get 30% of your daily vitamins in one shake, but you get energy too. I lost 40 pounds on ViSalus and felt amazing! And you can earn free product as a customer just for getting people to buy. I say if you have willpower, do it. If you give up easily, don't bother.

Zija markets a powder form of Moringa Oleifera. Great stuff. Look it up (the plant and it's benefits).
Zija is a MLM business whose main product is based Moringa Oleifera. If that's your thing, go for it. If not, there are other places to buy the the full plant powder and the health benefits are the same.

USDA Info: http://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/2959...

Here's is an abstract for a paper examining the nutritional benefits of the MO plant.

I think they are both scams and pyramid schemes as are most direct marketing initiatives. I don't doubt that there is some good that both products can give you, but the way they push the products and reps is crazy. Take Body by VI, think of all the money they are making the company to afford BMW's for reps. I am sure some will argue, but most of these type companies and products have proved in the long run just money making schemes for a very few people.

We have been part of the Visalus team since February. My husband has lost almost 40 pounds (Over the road trucker). I am a full time student and have also lost almost 20 pounds. We both are very satisfied with our product. As for Free, yes we do not pay anything except for our shipping. Unless you have put in the time, you will never know how beneficial it is it takes a minimum of one month for the changes and atleast 90 days for results. I have watched as people that are diabetic are off medications were close to being off, when the doctor told them it was the only way. A cardiologist told a family member to keep at it. He had other patients who were having great results. So, No, I would not call it a scam. It is a life change, and eventually your body does not want all the junk that is available now. I will shake until I can shake no more.

Stop lying Bratchild. Your husband hasn't lost 40 pounds using Visalus. That's just what you scam artists say when you are trying to sink your hooks in a new victim. The only "life change" you'll experience with this crap is a decline in your bank account and a whole lot of pissed off friends and family members.

I think I would rather go with the majority. Glamour magazine has a great article about the correct portion size of food. I can eat what I love but just teach my body how to survive on the correct portion size. Exercise as I can! Common sense recommended.
It depends on who the majority is. If the majority of people say they hate any of these weight loss methods then you need to ask those people out of all of them who has actually tried using them? Pack mentality is the "majority" too. What you need to do is ask a bunch of people who have ACTUALLY tried the products what their thoughts are.
