He is telling you that because he is trying to make his quota, he (and the people above him in his upline of the pyramid) get a commission off the sale. It is over priced and no more effective than the weight loss shakes that you can buy (much more cheaply) at Walmart.

buy you some weight watcher drinks, or boost. eat in moderation whatever you want, exercise. all these diets out today and pills is to make money from fat people claiming they have the solution. its basic...dont stuff yourself, or snack all day. eat 2 or 3 times a day. morning 2 eggs, wheat bagel, whole milk. lunch, tuna sandwich, dinner, chicken or salmon, sweet potato...always include wheat with each meal for your fiber and lean protein, whole milk also. you can drink a soda in moderation or dessert too. this is the right way to eat and lose weight, don't be fooled into the diets. they already know what really works but how can they make money if you dont buy the hype.

My cousin was on the body by Vi and she did lose about 8 pounds the first week. Then she really wasnt losing much weight after that she was staying extremely hungry because you replace two meals with the shakes. When she went to her doctor he said the reason you lose so much weight the first week or so is water weight, it wasn't actual fat loss and you gain it back super fast. You are better off eating three balanced meals a day and exercising that is the only safe and effective way to lose it. I have also heard that it was part of one of those pyramid scheme deals Dont waste your money!!!!

Try Profit, If Body By Vi isn't working... I know someone who did it and lost about 7 8 lbs the first weeks too with VI.. Haven't heard anything since though.. Find a local distributor and check it out for yourself.

Zija is 100% absorbable nutrition. Your body can do amazing things when you give it what it needs - it heals itself. If you won't give up pop however it won't work!

It's not a scam.

Or you could figure out how many calories your body burns each day and do the following:

Eat slightly less than that.

Work out.

Profit.

If your only goal is to lose a few lbs of water weight in one week and then gain it back, well then you are doing it wrong.

HOWEVER, it is 100% organic. So yes, u can put poison into your body to lose weight, OR you can use nutrition.

OR you can eat right and work out and have sustainable weight loss. Not just overpriced crap that helps you lose a little for a little bit.

It's only a joke to people who have not tried it. I personally have had wonderful results as a customer and can't get that with anything else i've tried... you're missing out! it's changed my life... and i'm NOT selling anything... what's your health worth?

I think I would rather go with the majority. Glamour magazine has a great article about the correct portion size of food. I can eat what I love but just teach my body how to survive on the correct portion size. Exercise as I can! Common sense recommended.

I vote for learning how to be healthy without pills. That's a lesson you can take with you for life and save you quite a bit of money in the long run. Beware of snake oil salesmen. There are a lot of people selling this product now around here. Remember if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Put the hard work in and earn it and you will gain a lot more than just a quick couple pounds of weight dropped.

I sell Body by Vi. I started the diet because I knew people who lost a lot of weight doing it. I don't agree with a lot of the things that other distributors are claiming, but I will say that it does work if you do the diet properly. Salesmen/women will push you to start off on 2 shakes a day when I have found from experience that the slower you loose, the more stays off. They probably just want the commission from more expensive kits. I started with 1 shake a day (balance kit) and lost 16 lbs over 3 months time. Once I hit a plateau, I started working out and have now lost 24 lbs in the 5 months I've done Visalus. Keep in mind, it's promoted as a 90 day diet... I'll be on it a total of 7 months by the time I'm done. I've gone from a size 14 to a 10. I only started selling because I saw there was a demand for the product and I've done well with little to no effort. I plan on starting 2 shakes a day and combined with exercise soon and I should easily reach my goal weight :o) Also, I have 100 recipes that I could post if anyone is interested. They're really delicious!
As a side note, I've only payed for my kit ONE time. Visalus offers a "refer 3, get yours free" program. If you sign 3 people up under you in a calendar month, you get your kit free the following month with the exception of a $6 shipping fee... but I'm not complaining! I honestly don't know a lot about Zija. I tried a shake once and it was awful but I have heard their skincare products are awesome.
Sorry for rattling on but Visalus IS something that I believe in. It's not just a diet. It's a lifestyle change. Fast food doesn't even appeal to me anymore. I absolutely love it.

I think its easier for some people to just have someone tell them exactly what to eat/drink than to be very careful what they put in their mouth. It took a friend of mine 6 months of going to the Y 5 days a week doing a spin class for 30 minutes and watching her food intake to lose 25 pounds. She is very proud of herself. I have lost 10 pounds just cutting out junk food, fast food, wine/beer. Eating normal portions of food WITH FAT and doing 45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week at Y. You don't have to do crazy things to lose the weight but stress can cause binge eating/drinking so make sure get the cardio in for stress. It helped me. Hope it helps someone else. Just say to self- will aim for one week of eating right and exercising. Then go on from there. Having buddy to work out with also helps. And don't beat self up about body image and if you fall off wagon now and then.

A scam. Just eat healthy and make sure you're getting enough physical activity and you should be fine. It really isn't that complicated.
