Barry, you can't lie to the American people any longer. Only the lemmings look the other way, or don't care to hear reality. Your watch, your failure-it was 9-11 and no preventative action was taken.

Benghazi, Libya (CNN)-- >Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and>> warned them about deteriorating security.

>>Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.
He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn't good for international business.

"The situation is frightening, it scares us," Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded.
Inside the U.S. consulate in Benghazi Slain ambassador returns Possible security leak in Libya

>>Mabrouk said it was not the first time he has warned foreigners about the worsening security situation in the face of the growing presence of armed jihadist groups in the Benghazi area.
The main building in the compound is in charred ruins.
Disagreement over how attack began
The suite where the body of the ambassador was found was protected by a large door with steel bars; the windows had steel bars.
His body was recovered after looters broke into the room. It appears his security detail left him in the room while they tried to deal with the attack.

Not really applicable to us being attacked currently overseas by radicalized Muslims.

Now if you wish to discuss the initial role of the marines, it might be a different story.

Thank you Mr. President for lying to us about the Libyan Embassy attack and spinning it that an unknown You Tube video is at the heart of the riots. Why then, is a guard who was injured during the assignation plot tell a completely different story than our administration? Who has more to gain by reconfiguring the story- a guard, or a president who is unwilling to admit his foreign policy failure on the anniversary of 9/11 ?

No demonstration before attack on US Consulate, source says

US disputes Libyan account, says attack was...

Did US policy or anti-Muslim film spark Mideast...

An intelligence source on the ground in Libya told Fox News that there was no demonstration outside the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi prior to last week's attack -- challenging the Obama administration's claims that the assault grew out of a "spontaneous" protest against an anti-Islam film.

"There was no protest and the attacks were not spontaneous," the source said, adding the attack "was planned and had nothing to do with the movie."

>>>The source said the assault came with no warning at about 9:35 p.m. local time, and included fire from ***more than two locations. The assault included RPG's and mortar fire, the source said, and consisted of two waves.( RPGs present in a spontaneous riot ? Please.)

The account that the***>>> attack started suddenly backs up claims by a purported Libyan security guard who told McClatchy Newspapers late last week that the area was quiet before the attack. <<<<***

"There wasn't a single ant outside," the unnamed guard, who was being treated in a hospital, said in the interview.

>>These details appear to conflict with accounts from the Obama administration that the attack spawned from an out-of-control protest.

The Libyan president also said Sunday that the strike was planned in advance.
But a senior Obama administration official told Fox News on Monday morning that the Libyan president's comments are not consistent with "the consensus view of the U.S. intelligence community," which has been investigating the incident, and are accordingly not credible.

"He doesn't have the information we have," the U.S. official said of Libyan President Mohammed el-Megarif. ""He doesn't have the (data) collection potential that we have."

UNREAL, Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice Says Libya Attack Was Spontaneous Act to Movie; Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magaria Says Premeditated

SHAMEFUL. The spontaneous attacks in the Middle East excuse is beginning to sound more political than plausible …

The Obama sycophants have circled the wagons for “The One”. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice actually went on ABC’s ‘This Week’ with Jake Tapper and stated that the Libya attack and murders at the Benghazi consulate were a result of a spontaneous act to a movie trailer of of a more than obscure video. It is simply incompressible that these folks are either outright lying to protect Barack Obama as a foreign policy expert or they are just that foolishly dangerous and naive.

Even though as referenced by the Gateway Pundit that the attack included over 150 Islamists equipped with rocket propelled grenades and assault rifles and not to mention that Al Qaeda already admitted the attack was revenge for its leader’s death earlier this year. Obama and his State Department keep repeating this ridiculous scenario because they are afraid that Americans are going to begin to ask themselves, are they safer today than they were four years ago?

From ABC News:

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice said the attack on the American consulate in Benghazi last week was not premeditated, directly contradicting top Libyan officials who say the attack was planned in advance.

“Our current best assessment, based on the information that we have at present, is that, in fact, what this began as, it was a spontaneous – not a premeditated – response to what had transpired in Cairo,” Rice told me this morning on “This Week.”

“In Cairo, as you know, a few hours earlier, there was a violent protest that was undertaken in reaction to this very offensive video that was disseminated,” Rice said, referring to protests in Egypt Tuesday over a film that depicts the Prophet Muhammad as a fraud. Protesters in Cairo breached the walls of the U.S. Embassy, tearing apart an American flag.

“We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo,” Rice said.“And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons… And it then evolved from there.”

Let us also not forget that the United States was warned 3 days in advance and the attacks took place on the 11th anniversary of 9-11. Yeah, sounds spontaneous, doesn’t it?

To make the “spontaneous” claims even less plausible, as reported by Doug Ross, Libyan President Mohamed Yousef el-Magaria offers CBS a “most devastating interview“. How shameful that the Obama crew would contradict the Libyan accounts that the attack and murder of Ambassador Stevens was not premeditated.

BOB SCHIEFFER: Was this a long-planned attack, as far as you know? Or what– what do you know about that?

MOHAMED YOUSEF EL-MAGARIAF: The way these perpetrators acted and moved, I think we– and they’re choosing the specific date for this so-called demonstration, I think we have no– this leaves us with no doubt that this has preplanned, determined– predetermined.

BOB SCHIEFFER: And you believe that this was the work of al Qaeda and you believe that it was led by foreigners. Is that– is that what you are telling us?

MOHAMED YOUSEF EL-MAGARIAF: It was planned– definitely, it was planned by foreigners, by people who– who entered the country a few months ago, and they were planning this criminal act since their– since their arrival.
