The justice system is not 100% correct, all the time. But majority, they are.

What about when you pay the price by going to jail and doing your time, how many times do you have to pay? Ever heard of double jeopardy?

For the record, I am not talking about child molesters.

Okay you OBVIOUSLY don't know how jailtracker work. Yes there are people on there who need to be seen, but not all of them. Even if you were arrested by mistake or wasn't guilty of the crime accused, they STILL put you on there to be seen forever and be embarrassed. But trust me it's Morehead, KY, they mess up and arrest people on mistake all the time. I've been arrested twice by mistake and someone messing up something on a computer (because everyone up there are stupid). But I'm always going to be on there to be judged for something I've never done and will never do, because of ridiculous naive people like you. If they don't delete jail tracker they need to at least delete people who wasn't proven guilty, because trust me there's plenty of innocent people on there.
You can have wrong (or even right)arrests stricken from your record, which would remove you from jail need no lawyer... you can do it easily by yourself. Google it.

Guilty by association. We learn that in preschool. Is it fair? No. You and your husband should be more aware of those you associate with. That is a rule that applies to anyone. I seriously doubt anyone has been arrested on false charges. If that were the case they would be entitled to compensation. IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME: DON'T DO THE CRIME!!!!!!!!!!

You think that arrest records should be private? Seriously?? People who break the law lose their right of privacy. It is part of the consequences of making bad choices and committing crimes. It is also part of protecting the public. Even employers have the right on applications to question about certain crimes. And not everyone looking at jailtracker is doing so in the interest of being "nosey".
I found jailtracker to be a valuable tool. I know few people here, and rarely recognize names. After hiring some local people to do a job and being scammed by the thieving low-lifes, someone told me that I needed to check for them on jailtracker. I'd never heard of it before. It was incredibly illuminating, I discovered that there were a multitude of arrests for the people we hired. They were just plain bad news. Had I had that resource available before hand, we would definitely not have hired them. We now check there before hiring anyone.
I think a lot of people maybe even you have broken a law and not even realize it. I think that even if someone has been arrested before, for instance years ago, that should not haunt them forever. There is now temp to hire services that places those kinds of people in factories for employment and are trustworthy, reliable workers! Just don't judge someone for mistakes they have made, people can change!!!

Unless your checking the sites yourself, any gossip sites showing the stuff should be illegal. It's public record, yes, but only public if a person chooses to go find out. These other people who print the flyers with pictures and so forth are making money by bringing this information to a public that didn't purposefully go to find out. Thus, it should be illegal. There is where your gossip starts.
