I did some reaserch on this guy and it appeares he is lagit. He was medicaly retired from VPD effective May 30, 2006, and that his "incapacity is a result of injury arising out of and in the course of his/her employment as a local safety member", signed by City Manager for City of Vallejo Joseph M. Tanner and Debora R. Boutte, HR Operations Manager. He recieves an(IDR) Industrial Disability Retirement from PERS, and was Honorably discharged from the U.S. Army effective 1 November 2006.

Its all in black and white on file with the city.

P.S. If this guy did anything, wouldnt it be an internal affairs matter subject to confidentiality law, why would you be talking about it in the first place ?.

Is this you Wes? Do you still live in Fairfield? Nice try. You know you are a liar. Honorable discharge? Remember, you were not the only army reserve at VPD.

The last thing some of you should have ever started was blogging. Prior to this bankruptcy thing most folks were willing to look at VPD/VFD as heroic. I was one of those people. But threads like this - as well as other past threads - reveal that most of you are just like everyone else. You are subject to anger, meanness, spite, envy and gossip just like the rest of us. But the big difference is that most of us know we aren't heroes. Your posts also shows that many of you can't move beyond grudges. Do you know what grudge-holding can do to you physically and emotionally? Wish the guy God Speed and hope that your brothers never turn on you.

Wow what misinformation and rumor! My husband worked for VPD while Wes was there, and I remember being at one of there lame award ceremonies and watched the chief award Wes the life saving medal for a 17 year old kid on the bridge. I am a parent of two and if an officer risked his/her own safety to save my child, then they are a hero in my book. My husband said he has seen wes on the front cover of a U.S. Army magazine training the French foreign legion in the middle east during desert storm….so how is it that he is not a veteran?

VPD and rumors go hand and hand!

Anyone who knows Wes knows he was industrially retired from the city over two years ago and is now enjoying his PERS retirement and future opportunities (get a life people).

LLPOF....don’t turn your anger to me, I was just telling what I know about him and jesting at all of the pitchforks in the air. Bottom line, if you want to see the truth for yourself on Wes then go to HR and ask. No one is arguing with you, you just don’t want to acknowledge that he did receive an IDR from the city despite what you think you know, and he did receive an honorable discharge from the Military. Why that pains you so much is intriguing......tell me more!

It does not matter what you write Tara. VPD knows what Wes did. His firing saved the city from future law suits.

Who is Tara?

I dont believe any of you really worked at VPD. If you did, you would be able to make one phone call to the chief, city manager, city attorney, city finance director, city HR Director and see that this is all lies, but you pathetic morons expect everyone to believe your word on a blogg, when this mans records are on file.

p.s. how about you tards check with 575 he is good for knowing the dirt. This guy must have raped you after smuthering you with a ether rag!!!!!

The last time I got that mad at someone was when my husband hit the wrong hole (Love you honey).

Good for you! I don't know this Wes guy from Adam, but I do know that tearing somebody apart on a blog is low. All of Vallejo should not be privy to a personal beef that's little more than gossip.

Yes it is the same Wes. He is a joke. Ask anyone. His own Mother in law can't stand him. He lost his job with VPD for dope and was kicked out of the military. He never went to Iraq, he was a reserve that was never called to duty. End of story.
First off, his mother in la2w is a drunk. lets just get that out the way, i know her personally and if you dont believe, head to the Val nap anywhere between 12pm and 12am. He has been awarded for his life saving actions and for his duty while in iraq... seen the united states seal stamp on each certificate. Just because you hate your job and have no heroism in your lifetime, doesnt mean you have to speak bad on someone who put there lifes in danger every day they went to work.. something you or the average joe would not do. Before you talk shit, take a history lesson
