Barbara "Don't Call Me Ma'am" Boxhead kept whining about millionaires and billionaires while doing nothing to support her time in the Senate except to walk the party line, voting for every socialist program out there. I thought it was very interesting when Fiorina mentioned that Boxhead only sponsored 4 bills in her 18 years of "service". Three of the four were to name rivers, post office and one other thing and one was to finally get California some federal dollars after one of the earthquakes. Some service.

Boxhead has never owned a business, made a payroll and as for Fiorina and her service at HP, she kept a company from going under during the worst technology recession, even if she outsourced jobs.

So, the libertards will tell you to re-elect Boxhead so she can vote for every tax hike and spending bill out there which will do nothing to help legal Americans out of work. It will be status quo. But with Fiorina we can have a chance to put one more block in the rebuilding of American legislative sanity.

Tonight I listen to Barbara Boxer and she is so proud of the bank regulation bill and the health insurance bill. Well let me tell you what I think of those bills.

Banks increased fees and stop credit on all their customer credit cards, line of credits etc. These fees were done because they knew what was coming and you the government just let it happen. You screwed us royal. They are now making huge profits and sticking up our you know what.

Insurance companies are now doing the same. Increasing their rates ten fold and making huge profits on us. And you even still gave them the power of state rates and not letting there be competition through out the country.

These increase stopped us dead in our tracks with double the cost on something we purchased with thinking that the banks would honor good credit as they did in the past.
And we still owe the same balance at which the normal payment now is just interest…

How can you say you saved us money. Are you nuts?? Oh also the federal government gave us a tax cut and guess what you guys did increase the state withhold more then the tax cut. More increases of cost and less to spend.

You, my dear have done the worst to us Americans than any government in the past. You wonder why they are laying us off? You can’t understand it? When all you did was raise the cost of small business and increase the profits of big corporations.

There is nothing that you can do now to fixed the problem you already did a great deal of damage. So be it and now it is time to say goodbye to such a corrupt government. And hope to hell the next one will undo the destruction you have done to the people of this nation.

Honor do you know what that means?? Go back and take the lesson again and again until you know the true meaning of that word…

Florina, keep fighting for us. Boxer needed to go a long time ago! Her idea of helping people is to make them dependent on the government. A a women of Mexican American ancestry all I want is to be allowed to make my own path. I don't need big Government to get in my way.

Great. I can't stand Boxer but Fiorina is pretty much 180 on what I believe in on social issues. Another case of us all losing no matter which one wins.

Fiorina wants to undo Roe vs Wade? Are we in the 19th century? She's regressive and CA would be foolish to vote this novice in.

Roe v Wade only eliminates the States choice in the matter of abortion. I think it is unlikely that Roe would be eliminated but don't worry, if it is eliminated, I think that California would still be an abortion state.

Boxer can finally retire to an assisted living home after November 2.

What a worthless excuse for a U.S. Senator. She's an Obamabot automatic vote for every spending and leftist agenda issue imaginable. She's doing to us on the Federal level what the leftist Legislature has done to California.

Anybody but Boxer!

Why are you allowing Boxer to distract you with a non-issue (Roe will never be overturned) from the real pain people are feeling out there which is the economy and jobs?

I don't care if Fiorina has 3 heads at this point...she is clearly the better candidate when it comes to understanding business, creating jobs, and getting our state moving in the right direction.

Quit voting Republican and Democrat people. Wake up. Both of these women are corporate bought offs.
If you need to be a millionaire to run for office, there is definitely something very corrupt about the whole political system.

Fiorina isn't going to be any better than Boxer.
Get out of the political mind control zone.
Stop doing the "lesser of two evils" vote.
There is no lesser of two evils. That is why we are in the state that we are in in this country.

There are other political parties. Everyone needs to get behind one of THEIR candidates to stop this mess in Congress.

I am not a democrat or republican. Boxer has been in office for too long and needs to go. We need a change. I watched the debate last night, and cannot believe Boxer's attitude towards Fiorina. Fiorina ran Hewlett Packard, and was accused of shipping jobs overseas by Boxer numerous times. Boxer does not want to discuss the entire issue here. Numerous corporations have sent jobs overseas during the last 10 years. Why? Businesses, Corporations, and Small Companies have not received tax credits to keep their operations open here. They have also been strapped with regulations, and taxes which have made it impossible to operate here in the United States competitively. Our country operates in a competitive world economy, and to remain competitive, many of these companies followed what their competitors have done.

Jobs have disappeared here at other companies as well. Not just at Hewlett Packard, but at Dell as well. Banks have also sent call center jobs overseas, and have received bailouts from the federal government. I know someone who has a home loan who received a call from their lender, and the call center was located somewhere in India.

During the debates, it was also interesting to note that Boxer voted down a bill four times to provide tax credits to businesses, corporations, and companies who hire someone who has been unemployed for two years or more. Boxer's slogan, "I want to make made in America mean something again." is a bunch of crap. Don't buy into Boxer's lies. Boxer chose not to discuss further many of the real reasons why jobs have left this country because the reasons were caused by the democrats in the form of increased taxes, and government regulation.

Boxer's attitude and her willingness to work with other people needs to change.

Jobs have left for many reasons. Here is one on mergers and consolidation and the relaxing of anti-trust laws by Reagan.

There is also some 2 billion cheap laborers that want our jobs and simply put, there is not enough jobs to go around. I will copy and paste the rest and we can see we have major problems and we cannot fix our problems and the job situation as long as we keep shipping jobs overseas. Part of the problem may be our tax situation and others is that we are completely ignorant on globalization and we have not done anything about it for the past two to three decades and now we are behind the eight ball. Running the country by ideology as Bush did has practically destroyed our country. We need reason, logic, and objectivity in Washington and it looks like there is no one out there that can bring us that.
And we can't stimulate the economy for several reasons.
1. Banking and too much housing.
2. Jobs are gone and there are no jobs to go to.
3. You cannot create jobs if jobs are going overseas.
4. 2 billion cheap laborers will put pressure on the middle class and jobs.
5. The tax cuts was for the here and now and is spent money. The tax cuts do not have the stimulative effect that it had before.
6. We have had low interest rates for a long time, and the interest rates do not have the stimulative effect that it had before.
7. Supporting small business does not work in my town with factories closed down. You need traffic and employed people provided that traffic.
8. Putting tax cut money into the hands of the consumer does not have the effect that it once did, because half the products are made overseas.
9. What widgets can be built in America and not in China or some other country.
10. The 50 year old generation will have a tough time to retrain as companies replaced them with automation.
11. We have not invested in our country, in our people, and in the future.
12. We have seen ideology used by political parties to run the country and that is a failure. Again, you have to do what I said on number 11.
13. The politicians are controlled by interest groups and lobbyists and that leaves out the little guy.
14. Tons of mistakes through the years and the ignorance of what globalization/free trade is doing to our country.
15. There is no upward movement for the middle class, as we lost the jobs and the jobs that do exist pay lower wages and it is just one competitor against the other. There is no new industries to go to.

Rick,I never thought I would agree with anyone from Berkley , but you stated my feelings exactly. Well done.Boxer and her close relationship with unions are what caused companies to re-locate to China and elsewhere. She keeps blaming Fiorina because she has nothing else to harp on.Boxer is a relic that needs to be replaced.Pelosi too.
