Could the problem be that the program is so ineffective that they have never released even one patient? Either actually rehabilitate the inmates or call it what it is -- a life sentence.

How about we put them in large dormitories or barracks? They don't each need their own room...this isn't a hotel!

This is a truly sad state of affairs when too many sex offenders to be able to house.

A faster treatments and much stiffer penalties for any repeat offenders might be worth a try.

Otherwise no real solution. This sick society needs help.

This whole program is an absolute failure.
These people cannot be rehabbed.
Free up some space by hanging a few dozen of them...or better yet...all of them.

How about as a society we finally say enough is enough and make room for sexual pervos in the prisons and stop using 26 "task forces" to find and prosecute drug users to fill up the prisons? It's clear the sexual offender programs do NOT rehab anyone, and you're more likely to get a more accomplished criminal any time you put someone in jail. So stop taking drug users and making them INTO criminals just so the justice system has "customers." We have to stop the failed programs at some point. There is simply no money. Look at NJ! They just laid off fire and police in one town due to lack of money. We have to be smarter about what we are doing, and NOT let unions and others try to tell us that more MONEY is the answer to everything. No, stopping failed programs and initiatives is! Being SMART on crime is needed. That includes INSURING that there is a place for pervos to get locked up.

Rehabilitation for these criminals is a complete joke. Go for longer prison sentences and more real prison space.

Sounds expensive! Just pay the $2.00 for a nice hollow point and solve mutiple issues. You will save tax payers money. You will get justice to the victims. You will stuimulate the economy. Make a new name like Sex Offender "0". The "0" symbilizes the hole in their foreheads.....

Frequently liberals accuse my of always seeing only the negative side of any situation. Starting right here in 2011 I intend to turn over a new leaf.
