After waking up to another day in Lake LA, Los Angeles Co. with a smoke filled room in a housing area in Lake LA and running out to see if my neighbors house is burning down, I was throughly discussed to see a horse hunching at a fence grasping for air. AGAIN, this neighbor was burning and filling the neighborhood with smoke. These people don't care about the hazardious affects of their smoke to humanes... much less to their OWN HORSE.

With calls time and again to the fire department, the Sherrif and to Environmental protection due to the many tocins these neighbors have been burning under the guise of burn permits, still nothing can be done?

Pictures taken and warnings given are still not enough! It is beyond comprehention why LA COUNTY has NOT BANNED BURNING on properties less than five acres.

Having respitory problems and knowing these burns, permits are not are affecting our children, our elderly and last but by no means least our animals makes me sick to the core. Again TOTALLY DISGUSTED these burns are allowed to continue.

Do your research people, Peta and Ascpa kill 95% of the animals they rescue. Why would you call them to kill it. Its common knowledge, their is a big movement going on to revoke their tax exemp status. Catch up with times, nobody wants their lying help anymore.

The ASPCA has agreed to pay Feld Entertainment, owner of the Ringling Bros. Circus, nearly $10 million as part of a settlement in a federal racketeering lawsuit. Feld will continue its litigation against other defendants, including HSUS and two of its attorneys. HSUS could be on the hook for millions upon millions in damages. And for anyone who may have been thinking this lawsuit didnít have merit, the fact that ASPCA was worried enough to shell out almost $10 million just to make it go away should make them think again.

So yeah, their workload will increase in fundraising. HSUS may have to use donations to pay out millon$. This may affect the 1% that actually goes to help animals.
