Did anyone buy the crap that was written in the newspaper about the interim principal? The principal who left did so because the state said she had to be replaced due to poor test scores. Was she fired?, no, she was promoted. Promotion is what happens to incompetence in Hardy county. This way the superintendent has the allegiance of that individual. She can now depend on that person to lie for her. Interesting to note this individual has already lied for her. What a sick use of county funds and all in the name of "the children". I don't think this helps the children at all. I think this helps the people who are the problem in education.

It is too musch to talk about her replacement, the daughter of a board member. Why wasn't the assistant principal the replacement? Can you say nepotism?

When are the people in this county going to stand up to this. Not only are the schools a mess but who wants these pukes to continue to do a poor job and receive promotions and raises for it. It's your tax dollars.

You said it all. Postings should say "Board relatives and Principals Children only need apply" . From the new article -- We need an Assistant Superintendent to No we don,t -- We have to go through the posting process, yet they post and hire in two weeks for the Central Office. Why could they have not done the same thing for the Principal, kept the one who was there for two more weeks, rather than messing up several schools with changes. Any bets on how long it will now take to "hire a Principal".

I am so fed up with whitecotton and the things the board has done!! WE NEED MEMBERS IN THERE WHO CARE ABOUT THE KIDS, NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LAST NAME IN THIS COUNTY

Seriously, you are taking the time to write here. Please take the time to email the state superintendent with your concerns.

If enough of us do this, perhaps attention will be paid. It's insane what continues to happen here. Poor test scores, nepotism, cronyism......new leadership has to happen. What good is a new multimillion dollar school going to do for us when we are consistently dealing with these issues?

Anyone suprised at who was hired at MIS??? Why did they even pretend to be advertising for the position? What do you expect out of Boards of Education - look at what happened at the state level.

Ummmmm.. If you look, the state fired Dr. Marple. Sooo, she isn't going to be much help.
