i am thankful for law enfortment officers that carry out their duties even when could cost them their jobs...i am sure that the officer felt badly about charging a person whom he had known and worked with for years. it was best for the community and for the vice mayor. since the vice mayor had serviced his community for 20 so years - he too must value the officer's decision. thank you for carrying the story in your papers. if it were my son i would be very proud of the officer. itrust that the vice mayor will get the help he needs and the officer get proper credit for his work.

i agree, it is sad but somebody got to stand up for what is right and be that the world needs, some people will rather go through along to get along. most of the problem we have now is the people who are sworn in and trusted to carry out the law, are crooked

I dunno about "crooked", but in Ardmore they're definitely practice with prejudice if not malice.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Gemini

You'll need every ounce of patience today because even the best-laid plans could go up in smoke under the Full Moon lunar eclipse. It seems that certain people are doing their best to throw spanners in the works, and the more annoyed you become the more they'll goad you still further. If there's dissent in the ranks about how to spend New Year's Eve, you may decide to go your own sweet way and prove that you're an individual in your own right. But try not to let any bad feelings mar the celebrations. Have a fantastic night!
