Look at the state of our nation, the result of long-term congresspersons like Shelby and Sessions and of people placing party over country.

By Amy Goldstein Washington Post Staff Writer Saturday, October 16, 2010 For the second year in a row, the nearly 54 million retirees and other Americans who receive Social Security benefits will not get any cost-of-living increase in 2011 in their monthly checks, government officials announced Friday, renewing debate over whether the system offers enough help in a weak economy. Obama defended his administration's $814-billion stimulus package and renewed his call for more spending on infrastructure, one of his recent proposals. Unlike many Democrats, Obama said he didn't shy away from using the word "stimulus," which Republicans are trying to turn into a political curse. OBAMA THINKS PISSING AWAY 814 BILLION BULDING ROADS IS THE ASWER TO ALL THE Economic problemS, TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR 401KS AND JOBS.READY FOR A JOB BULIDING ROADS.HOPE AND CHANGE.NOW HE WANTS 50BILLION TO BULID MORE ROADS.WAKE UP USA!!!VOTE OUT ALL DEM. Of course you think they have good voting records--they vote the way you and the other rightwing idiots want them to vote so they will keep being elected. Unfortunately, that does not make their votes right, or should I say correct, since they do only vote Right, which is wrong.

You know there has too be more people that pay taxes than there are of people on welfare and disability otherwise there wont be enough money. You are a typical left winger always wanting something from nothing.

You know there has too be more people that pay taxes than there are of people on welfare and disability otherwise there wont be enough money. You are a typical left winger always wanting something from nothing. I've never gotten anything from the Government for nothing and I consider myself a conservative. If it takes government money to keep GM and Chrysler from going out of business and the USA loosing two major car companies, I'm all for it as long as we own the companies until we get paid back. Lee Ioccoca and the government worked out a plan 25 years ago and the government got back more than they put in. I'm 100% against unreasonable Union demands that have closed businesses and sent other businesses overseas. I'm for raising taxes on the rich and leaving the Bush tax cuts for the middle class just as they are. I'm against welfare for those who can work but won't. I could go on and on but I consider these to be my conservative values among many.

We need a Democrat to represent us in the Senate. We are being ignored because our two Senators just say "NO" to everything and propose nothing.

It takes more than 18 months (give or take) to correct the NUMEROUS problems the Bush II administration left on Obama's doorstep. Look at all Obama HAS accomplished! He got a groundbreaking Healthcare overhaul actually PASSED in both the House and Senate(which many said would be impossible to do), he has kept his word, and pulled out our troops from Iraq-I ask that you please just disregard the incorrect information above stating Obama has not pulled us out of Iraq-he HAS.(We had NO BUSINESS being in the in Iraq in first place-unless you think it's ok for our brave men and women in uniform to die, get injured, and/or suffer for the rest of their lives from PTSS,depression, broken hearts, broken families, and broken spirits...all so Bush II could avenge his Father's reputation and pride by finishing what Bush I could not). Obama bailed our auto industry out-saving tens of thousands of jobs, and the confidence we had lost regarding our auto industry. Bush II was an idiot, and what's worse, he was an idiot with extreme power. He was the leader of the Free World, for pete's sake...and he didn't even know how to do the most basic of Presidential tasks! I don't think the United States will ever live down the sheer EMBARASSMENT of the fact that we-the people of this great country, and the protectors of democracy-put this ignorant bastard in office. Bush did so much more damage to our world image than anyone else in history. If you voted for Bush (and ESPECIALLY if you voted for him more than once) than you should hang your head in shame (ALTHOUGH at least you VOTED-that's more than 2/3rds of our citizens can say). Bush II was the worst thing to happen to democracy, our public world image, and our diplomatic efforts across the board-EVER, so to even attempt to compare him to Obama is like trying to compare apples to manure....
