“It's been fun, Joe, but not 'real' fun.”

As much as I think it's foolish to base one's vote for a candidate on one issue, I hope Lieberman gets crushed today. I hope the election serves as a wake-up call to what has been, from the start, one stupid war.

I'm not faulting the military here. For the most part, it has done what it was supposed to do.

I'm faulting our political leadership (including Lieberman on the war), which has been too dishonest, corrupt, and incompetent.

In only the most certain of cases should we ever preemptively attack and kill a people who have not attacked us and who were not a threat to us.

If we're going to bring this fiasco in Iraq to an end, we have to start with the task in front of us. That task is Joe Lieberman.

I hope the Connecticut voters get us started.

I do not fault Joe Leiberman on the war as much as I fault George Bush's Generals.

Bush has yet to let loose of his Generals that is taking him down.

This war can(Iraqi)be over if Rumsfeld would quit.

I did my part! Go Ned. When Leiberman said he would run as an independant he proved that he no longer holds Democratic views. By 7a.m. Monday morning voters had already made up their minds and slinging this last minute website crap at Ned Lamont shows Leibermans desperation and arrogance!

Maybe now he can officially become a corruptlican.

Bush is Gay, he kissed a dude. Calling all Christian Fundamentalist, there is a homo in the white house. Senator Joe Leiberman you are so dam boring with your monotone voice. I can't wait to see more carreer politicians fall republican and democrat. It is time to clean house, what about Hillary Clinton, she has been pretty pro-Bush. No kissing though, I hear Bush only cares for older gentlemen. He and Chaney have a real close relationship.

Lieberman let everyone down and is out of touch. A sound defeat would send a much needed message to those Democrats in office that they are next in line to be defeated if they don't get their act together about the Bush war. Before Bush's war is over several trillion dollars will be down the rathole of Iraq, and thousands of Americans killed.
For what? For Bush's ego? Impeach Bush and the rest of his gang.

When did Saddam kill his first 500K?

Oh, for that we start with 1991 (when we just stood by) and continue on back.

Where did he get his chemical weapons?

That would be Reagan, right?

Lieberman didn't get hacked -- he exceeded his bandwidth. He's a fool. Read all about it --i.e., get some facts -- over at FireDog Lake. Topix merely passes on what some call news. It doesn't check things out, it's part of MSM.
Joe Lieberman is a political hack, a faux Democrat, and a cheerleader for Likud policies.
I hope he goes down in the defeat he so richly deserves. WHen he does, betcha he ends up a lobbyist!!

Lieberman voted AGAINST Bush 90% of the time. "Too close"? You feel really buddy-buddy with someone who disagrees with YOU 90% of the time?

Lamont wants us to just leave Iraq NOW; forget the consequences. Isn't there another word for this? Maybe you don't know the word - it is "surrender". But I guess anything that sticks it to Bush is Ok - even if the terrorists see it as victory.

Are you beginning to see why conservatives think you're un-American? It isn't just that you disagree with us, its that you're willing to get us all killed so that you can declare "victory."

Yeah. So sad you "conservatives" are out of power! Now we just have to stand back and watch you fall, one by one. Buhbye Joe!

Progressives are the ONLY true American Patriots! Now eat our dust.......

That, I assume is your idea of a clever retort, huh? No wonder we've been kicking your butts for so long. You guys really are pathetic.
By the way, we're not "out of power". You may win or we may win in November but, uh, it is only August, twit. I know you folks don't deal with reality very well, but you're gonna have to wait some. And November may have some unpleasant surprises for you. Kind of like 1980, 1984, 1988, 1994, etc. etc. You get the idea.

Lieberman will win as an independent and the Democrats will not get Senate Majority.
Connecticut has done its part in the war on terror. Keep the Democrat Minority. Blamers and second guessers are always best when giving way to doers.

why don't you people go tell the Islamic facists, that want to convert the world to fundamentalist Islam, who want to slice your throats, cut off your heads, rape our women, and convert our children to the ways of the Quran, that we'll "leave them alone" so the war can end.

wake up, people!!

we're at war whether you like it it or want it, or not! does this scenario suck? hell YES it does! but its not a choice anymore!

go try talking some sense into the 21 muslims who tried to blow up 10 planes today?

and you're voting for a guy that wants to "leave so we can play nice" with these people?

hellllooooo? what are you going to SAY to these people? if you had a chance, to try and talk with these Islamic facists, what would you say? somebody, answer that! their religion specifically says that its ok for them to lie to non-muslims anyways, so do you really think you're going to get anywhere substantial with them?

I mean seriously, whats it going to take for you people to open your eyes? Do these terrorist, Islamic, modern day Nazi facists have to blow up the World Trade Center in order for you to wake up?

OH WAIT!! They ALREADY DID!!
