If the cell phone has been turned off, they can't ping it.
Sounds like moms had a no hitch hiking conversation with her son, likely since he told her he and or a friend have been hitchhiking.
Like most children, they'll yes you to death, then turn around and be sneaky and go do it.
Obviously Dylans; close friends state he hitchhiked. Dylan was no stranger to hitchhiking and has done it before.
He knew where to meet his friends the morning, yet all he needed was a way to get there.
There is only ONE WAY out of the area where Dylan's dad lives; and they live near the top of that little area. Only locals or people familiar with that area would have any reason to be there.
So assuming Dylan left his dad's to hitch a ride, he'd have to walk southbound on the road to get to an area of which there would be likely more people around to give him a ride. These chances seem slim to begin with, as it's not a heavily populated area and there's not much traffic at all. So whoever gave him a ride would be LOCAL.
Cops obviously have some kind of video footage or confirmed sightings of Dylan in La Plata County and not just an airplane written manifest. They have the videos from Walmart, McDs; they need later videos likely to identify a vehicle involved.
Cops wouldn't mention Walmart or McDs is they didn't have the proof. It would be from arrival at the airport on then. The Walmart and McDs just elaborate after the airport bit. Yes, most fast food places have cameras of which you can view both driver and passenger. They tend to be robbery targets (drivethru windows)

We all know how children at age 13 can be! They will go behind your back to hang out with friends, lie, and some experiment with drugs.
My MIL has a huge problem regarding this with my younger SILs. It happens.
Is is possible he met up with his friends to get high, only depending on what drugs they were doing... maybe things got out of hand, his friends got scared.
Did police interrogate the friends?
13 yrs is a very common age for "experimenting"

These parents, both Mom and Dad, are somewhat how we say it in the south, "a little bit shady." I know we don't get to see all that the media knows, so we can just speculate, but somebody knows what happened to that boy. Stop playing dumb and tell everything that's been going on. It don't matter now, cause it's all gonna come out. Stop playin' like ya'll so innocent. Everybody knows you ain't.

I just read up on everything about this case and LE would not be announcing criminal if they did not think anything bad happened to this boy. Nor would they have taken vehicles and had to do an extensive search of the home. Sadly,I don't think anyone is going to find this younster alive. I don't know what is wrong with the father or what issues he has, other than a lot of alcohol,by appearance, but his stories have changed and don't add up or make much sense. I hate that courts force children who are old enough, as in Dylan's case, to make their own decision as to whether or not they want to spend time with the other divorced parent. Expecially with all the alcoholism, drug use, and violent behaviors of parents these days, why does a Judge force a child to endure just because divorce/custody laws say that is the way it should be? I think its sad and maybe if Dylan wasn't forced to go, he'd still be safe. So Sad.

I think LE suspects Dad but I do not think there is any evidence for them to charge this guy.
I dont think Dylan ever made it to dads house that sunday night.
I think Dad has anger issues and drinks tooooo much!
He lost controll and things happend.

O my goodness, Cindilu, I have to agree with you after seeing them on Dr. Phil today. That guy would not answer a straight question, and all he wanted to do was try to convince people how imperfect the mother was. I do have to say that she seemed kind of nutty to me though. If that had been my child, I would have been on the next plane/train/automobile to find him. Hell, that dad would only have to text me once, because the next time I would have been there! Can't wait to see episode 2 tomorrow. But more than anything I hope Dylan is alright.

You've posted quite a bit concerning this missing child Dylan Redwine, I've also noticed you claimed to know people in places with the ability to help.
Even if know one has reached out to you, For the sake of Dylan, and I've followed this case since November 23 when I first heard about it, Please Reach out to who ever you know that has the ability to
sit Mark Redwine down for a undetermed amount of hours until the Truth surfaces.
