Where To See Fireworks This 4th Of July
Despite the fire restrictions this Fourth of July, there are still some places to see the sky lit up with fireworks this holiday weekend! Sunday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Iron Horse Park, Fort Carson will be hosting "Fourth of July on the 3rd," which will conclude with a firework show at 9:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Ummmmm....maybe Canon City should have maintained it's own rule, and not fired off combustables. Fire on Skyline Drive on the 4th is an example of how even those who think they are prepared are no match for nature. Who would have been responsible if the fire had gone just a wee bit further and taken out a locel business? Private citizens were promised hefty fines if they lit anything.
